Will Donald Trump go down as the biggest dumb person to occupy White House or was there someone else?

The conversation didn't change. This indicates that Trump will be voted in, again and by the same people; regardless of talk and protests and all that people say. Nothing will change, because the two sides are not listening to each other, not at all. No listening = no change = same outcome this election cycle.

That said protests are permitted, and people still get to vote. You can't say that about some other countries. Its just that politically we have a stalemate, right now.
You need more political parties in this current two option "democrazy" :)

We have fifty states, so there are already some major factions built in. The voting system will always tend to move us towards two parties. I don't remember the terminology and names for different voting systems, but there is a statistical reason for the two parties.

I don't think it's the voting system. There are countries with FPTP that have produced multiparty systems with strong regional factions (I'm thinking of Canada and the UK specifically).

Speaking from an outsider's POV I think it's more the case that American political discourse has become a) strongly centralized by national mass media, and b) strongly polarized along a handful of wedge issues.
