You are not wrong. My wife noticed it.
Reading people's minds, based on facial expressions while under stress, is way above my pay grade.
But I distinctly recall when Nicholas Sandmann's expression was interpreted as an evil smirk. And therefore proof that he was assaulting a Native American elder.

It wasn't his looks necessarily as much as it was his behavior. Given his hands were in his pocket, you would know anybody that's pumped up on adrenaline wouldn't do that indicating he was calm enough to know what was going on.

It might be my experience, but they've usually heavily mirrored sunglasses. Might be tonhide that craziness. Other than that, ots a wall of intimidation they way they carry themselves.
(note, I have had zero encounters of any sort on the "enforcement" end of the popo here in California, everything I provide as anecdotal happened in Indiana)
And everyone knew Nicholas Sandmann was a racial bigot because they watched a video.

That's just a stereotype...the media creating impressions again.
I've been all over the country, & I've yet to see mirrored sunglasses.
Even sunglasses are rare in the midwest & east coast.
And if they really are psychopaths, they needn't hid their eyes.
They'll look more normal than you & I. The one serial killer I
personally know looks like a sweetheart...who'd cut out your heart.
(He literally did that to at least one person.)

I am remembering specific examples. Mirrored to dark enough to look mirrored, Ive seen plenty of them (especially this time of years when ots bright)
