Lutefisk, like a cement block, cannot be "loved", someone can love lutefisk in the sense that they find the act of eating it good, but they cannot love the lutefisk itself, it is a recipe.I am completely devoid of love for lutefisk. Does this make me evil in respect to lutefisk?
Mister Emu writes: Compassion and love don't always go together. In killing someone to send them to a better after-life you are taking away their free will. Free will to me is an essential part of love.
If you do not want these victims to die by murderous hands, how and when do you expect people to die?Mister Emu writes: Are you saying that you believe multiple personality killers should be roaming the streets because part of the killer doesn't have control of the body, forget all the dead people I guess...
Should they be free to go around killing people?
This is incorrect, I believe in an afterlife. You were on the assumption that I was on the assumption... and we have another showing of what assuming does. You are still on the assumption that this is the only existence that you will K(NOW),
Maybe, but you should have your free will on earth too.the will is much more free in the spiritual realm.
Natural Causes, and whenever. If you do not want these victims to die by murderous hands, how and when do you expect people to die?
If you are completley devoid of love for cats, yes you would be evil in respect to felines.I am completely devoid of love for cats. Does this make me evil in respect to cats?

I am not sure what is the most likely way to die in any given society. It would be interesting if this information existed. For example how many people died in car accidents compared to medical related diseases as compared to gun wielding schizophrenics.Lord Tanis Rahn writes: id say more unlikeyly to die of natural causes in this world and what happens if sum1 is a schizophrenic..one murder, one peaceful...cnt split 1 2 heaven and 1 2 hell...they make each other up
I believe that our existences are continual. No "befores" and no "afters". I am very well grounded and aware of the NOW and any place that I go beyond this physical existence is just another experience or another chapter of my BEing.Lord Tanis Rahn writes:if i hadnt dropped psychology id probably of done that for my coursework, lol! do u believe in the afterlife Cardero
Evil is the absence of good.Lord Tanais Rahn said:sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, but wasnt sure, but i was wondering,
what is evil?
I cannot speak for all Christians, but we are supposed to love everyone. Though I may disagree with your use of free will to commit acts I believe are sins against the one true God, I still have love for you, as does God, or He would not have sent His son to die for the sins of the world.secondly your saying if you dont love something, your evil to that, most christian's dont like gay people, so were hated, and were detested in the bible as far as i can c, so doesnt that make christians and your god evil for disliking my kind?
Actually I do have complete and utter free will to do anything, there may be reprocussions for what I do, but I can still do them. Not going to happen as long as there is government rule and social Law.
I really couldn't care less how they lived their life, I am concerned about how their death happens because the longer someone lives the more time they have to accept or help other people accept Christ and be saved. Then what would be your concern about how and when someone dies? Why apply so much judgment on someones death when you havent been able to review how they lived their life. For everyone to die of Natural Causes is a little unrealistic and impractical in the society that we live in
Jacob had many things when he returned to the land of Canaan including wives and servants and livestock yet he is a righteous man.chuck010342 said:well you skipped a big section where Job is described in having lots of stuff. Perhaps Job was materlaistic
Even after his property and family are taken from him, and after he becomes sick with boils on his skin, and after his friends come to him and tell him that he should curse G-d still Job is obiedient and just:Job 1:20-22 said:Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the L-RD gave, and the L-RD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the L-RD. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged G-d foolishly
Job 13:13-16 said:Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what [will]. Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand? Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him: but I will maintain mine own ways before Him. He also [shall be] my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
