Evolution My ToE

Just taking one part of your response, you say that the birth of Jesus was not part of evolution. Just to make sure, wouldn't you say that any birth process is part of evolution, or perhaps the theory of evolution? If not, then what is it?
This, at least, is an easy one. Jesus didn't have any children, unless you think that Isaiah 53:10 is a reference to him, so his evolutionary lineage through his mother and her ancestors ended with him.

When did the 7th day end, by the way? I know the first 6 days had an end, but what about the 7th day? Further, are you saying that each day of creation was 24 hours, if I read you correctly? Please explain.
In Hebrew, "yom" means "day", thus not era nor epoch. Also, it says that God finished creating at the end of the 6th day.

The first part above has nothing to do with what we were talking about, and the second part also really doesn't relate to the ToE. IOW, what does Mary have to do with the ToE?

As I'm quite certain I posted this before, let me just mention that I am neither a scriptural literalist nor a believer in scriptural inerrancy, so I'm not sure if this is what you're trying to figure out or not with me. IOW. the Bible deals with Judeo-Christian beliefs, thus not objective history or science.

Not sure if I understand you. I can only deduce from your answer above that you take the Bible as a type of fable. So let me ask you this: Do you "believe" in Jesus? I mean if so, how? As someone not really true (literal) as written about in the Bible? Back to evolution vs creation, do you believe he was miraculously conceived, did not come about by the normal, usual way people are conceived? I'm not trying to prove anything here, except to figure out exactly what you do believe as far as Jesus is concerned since you claim to be a Christian, I guess you just like the idea of the man Jesus but don't believe that his life was transferred from heaven rather than by the natural means evolution speaks about. Also, was he resurrected?

Interesting that in Genesis 1:5 it says that God called light 'day' ('yom'), and the darkness He called 'night' ('layelah') in that one "day." Day and night make up one day at Genesis 1:5-
To quote (NIV) Genesis 1:3-5 referring to this,
"And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light (yom) from the darkness (layelah). 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning--the first day." Light=day. Darkness=night. Light=yom. Darkness=layelah.
So there yom explicitly means light, and layelah means darkness. Therefore light (yom) and darkness (layelah) comprise one 'day.' Clearly one period of -- time.

Of course, but your deciding does not mean that what you decided is the ultimate and correct interpretation. Attacking another Christian, because you do not follow the same interpretation or you choose to ignore evidence is just persecution, since you have no idea of the reality of their faith. You cannot be the judge of others faith and claim that God is the only judge at the same time. Yet, you seem to be doing just that.
When we make choices as to which is better for us as individuals, yes, in a sense we are judging. But God is the ultimate judge of what he accepts.

You should understand that modern human males and females are descended from animals (vertebrates) that were already divided into males and females long before the first mammals evolved and probably long before the first tetrapods evolved.
So therefore, if I understand you correctly, you do believe that a male and female today are products of the evolutionary process in each and every case.

Understand me correctly?

I was asking a question in order for you to clarify what you said so that I could understand you correctly. But of course, you didn't answer again. So I guess I'll never get a shot at understanding what you were talking about.
OK, well, we'll try. So let's see again. :)
I'll try to rephrase it. I said if a person believes in the Bible and evolution, would they say that Jesus (1) came from heaven, and (2) Mary was impregnated by holy spirit? That is what I'm trying to ascertain about those claiming to be Christian and at the same time saying they believe evolution as the way things came about. It's really a very simple question, Talk about not getting any clear and direct answers, except they believe the Bible is filled with myths but evolution is true, and they like the Bible anyway even if it's filled with myths and Jesus is not the son of God who was resurrected. But they like the idea of Jesus even if it's not true what's written about him and what he said.

Because they left their remains behind.
And that's a definite answer, as if it settles the question? (I don't think so. But, if you do, that's what counts by this time.) Maybe their remains drifted, or were blown away to other parts and soil particles got mixed in and the elements corroded, etc. Maybe each 'day' wasn't the same amount of time.

Based on what we've seen in the past, probably so. How we may evolve from here is an unknown however.

I can only deduce from your answer above that you take the Bible as a type of fable.
How may times do I have to tell you "no" on this???

So let me ask you this: Do you "believe" in Jesus?
Based on your responses thus far that include judgmental insinuations, maybe more than you do. Your behavior is more like that of an aggressive prosecutor than of a Christian who actually believes and accepts Jesus' teaching to "love one another as I have loved you". And Paul taught us to "beware of those who cause division", which is exactly what you are doing.

I'm no longer playing this insulting game that you insist on playing. I've made it clear where I'm coming from and why, and yet all you do is to come back with more insulting-type questions.

Sorry you feel that way. Meantime you really aren't specific in your answers about the veracity of the Bible and certain aspects. Was Jesus resurrected, or is that a myth, too? I would think a person claiming to be a Christian would be very happy and willing to answer that question. And have a nice day.

Oh, and re-reading your answer as to whether humans are still evolving, did Jesus come about in Mary's womb by God's intervention, or by evolution? What do you believe about that? Perhaps you are insulting the biblical account of Jesus. Yes, have a good day, and frankly, I can't see why you are insulted by these questions. Whether you realize it or not, your expressions claiming I insulted you have been very helpful. Thanks.

No, my friend, you have not "made it clear." Please do not take that as an insult.

So Mary, you believe, conceived Jesus by sexual intercourse, and therefore was not a virgin when she conceived, is that correct about your belief? I'm bringing this out only in reference to whether a person, not necessarily speaking of you, who claims to believe in Jesus in the Bible can also believe in evolution at the same time. Either Mary was a virgin when she conceived Jesus in her womb, as the Bible says she was, or she was not.

Here is what the future will bring: (not extinction.)
Psalm 37:29 "The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell therein for ever."

Well, that's interesting. And I can't analyze it now too deeply, except to say that Jesus was the human equivalent of Adam. Adam disobeyed, therefore suffered death. Jesus did not disobey, but was put to death. While I think the mechanics were in place in Mary's womb (not evolutionary biological mechanisms, but those that were initiated by God for procreation), it seems that the male organism was first and the female was from the male. Beyond that I can't go right now. Yes, I think Isaiah 53:10 is a reference to Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:17 says, "For if, by the trespass of the one man [Adam], death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!"
So to me, this is clearly a change in dynamics or dna of Adam by God. And will also be a change for those accepting God's provisions for life by means of Jesus Christ.
