Is this another example of a Passover

Revelation 7:3

Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads

Revelation 9:4

And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

Don't Christians have their own festivals enough that they now want to start appropriating others'?

Israel learned from Egypt and Babylonian experience. Seems to be a recurring idea

Have you not read there is nothing new under the sun?

What will be will be again que Sera Sera Sera

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

No it's just Christianity trying to legitimise itself by appropriating Jewish holidays.

I'm not promoting a festival, or Christianity. I'm promoting a basic human need. You and tribalism are not special. Build a bridge and get over it.

Perhaps you don't understand where I'm coming from, which I get. But from this angle, it looks like Christianity trying to take a Jewish holiday and whitewash it with Christianity. Certain Christian sects like to do things like that to attract naive Jews to Christianity by deception and making it look Jewish. It's not exactly something we appreciate.

I'm sure there are christians who are doing that. What's sad is their are Jews and Israelites who have incorporated foreign festivals and ideas into their culture. Hypocrisy doesn't wear well on anyone. most people don't even know what they are celebrating. What good is any festival lacking cooperation through love. War?

I have been seated and for those who prefer war, they will be served Psalms 23:5 and Isaiah 66:5.

are you wondering who the sealed ones are ? the ones who have the seal in their foreheads ?
The high priest was anointed with blood. The ones who have been annointed. Many are called but few are chosen. There are a few on here who are chosen. They are not necessarily Christian either. They understand the mystery of God.

They walk in the ever present light of their inner child because the kingdom of heaven was created for such as these.

These are those pillars of the city.

What about the pagan festivals that Christians incorporated?[/QUOTE]

blood mixing with oil?? . not sure that really works . water does not mix with oil [unless ya also use an egg] . blood is mostly water .
blood is used to sanctify which is why it was spattered upon Aaron, his sons, and their garments . but as for blood being pored on them as oil was pored ,no .
There is no mention of Aaron’s sons being anointed by pouring oil over the head, as Aaron had been.

you're off on another tangent again. First you don't know and then you re going off on oil

Passover remembers when the Angel of Death passed us over during the last plague in Egypt. It commemorates God delivering us from slavery with a mighty hand. I fail to see anything in the above that remotely resembles this.
