COVID-19: God's Punishment for Homosexuality?

So what you are saying is that your God isn't like a drunk man trying to take a **** in public toilet. He is a perfectly sober guy who sometimes **** on the floor because that's how he rolls? Even us, silly mortals, don't like civilian casualties in wars against our enemies because we undertand that those victims didn't deserve to die, yet somehow your God doesn't get that? Your God is feebleminded.

Everyone deserves to die. That is why you die. How silly your vulgar statements are. God understands war very well and death very well. If you don't understand 'civilians' get killed in war all the time, you're the one who is feeble minded. You're just a typical atheist.

Yaakov Litzman has tested positive for COV19, only a month after saying it was God's punishment for homosexuality. Now that's funny. Not that I wish for anyone to get sick. May he heal and learn his lesson.
Israel health minister, who claims coronavirus is ‘divine punishment’ for homosexuality, tests positive for COVID-19
Edit: For clarity, Yaakov is the Health Minister of Israel.

As Israel's Health Minister, he should know better because it is 'man' who dominates 'man ' to 'man's' injury, 'man's' hurt.
- Ecclesiastes 8:9

Do these sort of people spin two wheels, one being things their religion claims god doesn't like, and the other being things people don't like? "God causes -hangnails- because of -mixed fabrics-! ...of course whether or not you're spared or punished will be totally random, regardless if you're guilty or innocent. But yeah, hope you learn your lesson!"

I know the OP saying such was a hoax, but there are people who think this way.

If you don't understand (or agree) that this is a tragic thing that honorable and competant military personnel try to avoid as much as possible you are a psychopath irrespective of your religious beliefs. If we had ultimate power, there wouls be no "fog of war" casualties; there would only be legitimate kills and war crimes. If your God doesn't have such power or such dedication to justice, He is feeble and his followers even more so. There is nothing more vulgar than someone trying to justify the unjustifyable; it's both an insult to the oppressed and to reason itself.

[QUOTE="epronovost, post: 6606804, member: 67586"......... He showers the entire place and calls it "his artwork".[/QUOTE]

Rather, I find it is MAN who showers the planet with MAN's artwork.
For it is MAN who dominates MAN to MAN's injury, to MAN's hurt - Ecclesiastes 8:9
God (as the Greatest Artist) His artwork is the Golden Rule.

God is all powerful. When He brings judgement everyone is affected. How many women and children were killed in the flood of Noah's day? No doubt it was in the millions.

And when God brings judgement or justice, it is just. If He saves 300 people, He is just. If He kills 300 people, He is just. You see...What God does is just. Not..God is just if He does such and such.

So if I believed everything your weakling of a deity was the hottest stuff ever made and imagined, I would believe he is the hottest stuff ever... you, sir, have really mastered the art of tautology, but failed to realise how ridiculous this is. I can only hope you have a sliver more strength than your God or, failling that, that you are never placed in a situation where your judgement could have grave consequences.

From Biblical standpoint, God has every right to kill every man due to the fact that God is the creator and man decided to disobey God and take the penalty as described in Genesis. So, God is actually extremely merciful in that everyone is not destroyed. God is even more merciful by providing a way, Jesus, for all us to avoid the eternal judgment that comes from our sin.

Which is PRECISELY why the monstrous god you depict is not worthy of the worship of anyone with even a modicum of morality. Slaughtering the innocent along with the guilty is no better than the Germans during WWII who'd round up and execute a hundred innocent citizens, just because the French Resistance killed a single German soldier. What a warped sense of justice you must have to defend such behavior.

Are you capable of understanding how this argument is so profoundly stupid and ridiculous?

The point is no is one innocent from a truly Biblical perspective.

In the basis that the Bible is false, the debate is not even wrong.

In the basis that the Bible is true, it's an incredibly stupid argument.
The argument is from the Bible so the argument would be true.

If you believe the Bible is false, the debate should be about God's existence.
