Reign down?
Christ returns -from heaven -to Earth -in the manner described in Zech 14 -and stays -dwells with humans. You can study other scriptures which makes this clear if you are of a mind to do so.
I would Not disagree with John 14:19 that ' the world would Not see Jesus any more '.
To me Zechariah 14 is about the complete triumph of true worship restored.
Angels are an invisible creation, Jesus leads angels in cleaning up things on Earth - Revelation 19:14; 2:16

I don't recall anyone thinking the illustration about the figurative humble sheep and the figurative haughty goats is that people are saying that Jesus calls or thinks of people as literal sheep or literal goats.
But I will keep that in mind.
Jesus is the figurative shepherd, and the figurative ' sheep ' hear and follow Jesus' voice (Scripture).
So, I would Not hesitate to referring to the soon coming ' time of separation on Earth ' as per Matthew 25:31-33,37.
I would think a person could consider it a compliment to be one of Jesus' figurative ' sheep '.- Luke 15:4-7
i am thinking it was here where its talked about in a WT w15 3/15 p. 25

i still hear people saying one or the other

Thank you for your reply.
If a person does Not accept Matthew 25:31-33 as an illustration, instead of name calling, then I wonder what they think of Luke 15:4-7 ______________

I do not disagree with what was actually said and meant. You have to take it with all other verses -"line upon line, precept upon precept".
Christ was speaking to those specifically on Earth then not seeing his flesh and blood body any more.

Rev1:7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

1 Thes14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Zech 14 is quite clear and quite literal. His feet will stand on the cloven mount of olives!

Rev 17 explains that the military forces of Earth will attempt to make war with him.

As for the cleanup crew.... Angels can be invisible -but are not always (Jacob wrestled one)...

Joel 2 1Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
2A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
3A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
4The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
5Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
6Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
7They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
8Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
9They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
10The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
11And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

yes 25:31-33 in that tower
there are two types of service.

goats
service to self, familialism, tribalism, denomi-nationalism, nationalism, selfism, or self-centered.

sheep
service to all as self; which is the golden rule, altruism, atonement, unconditional love, slave/service to love, merciful, benevolent.

Yes, every eye will see him, see him with the mind's eye.
Think of Micah 1:3 when God turns His attention to Earth. It was Not a literal seeing.
Not a literal seeing but as Jesus became invisible when ascending to heaven in cloud cover.
The ' we ' of 1 Thessalonians 4 is about Jesus' spiritual 'brothers '. (such as those of Luke 22:28-30 Daniel 7:18)
Chapter 4 is addressed to those ' brothers ' such as the ' brothers ' of Matthew 25:40 who are Not the ' sheep '.

Sure, love un-conditionally as to have love for all peoples, but Christ-like love does come with conditions.
One can Not practice sin and expect receive salvation (deliverance / rescue) - Hebrews 10:24-26.
Either we ' repent ' or we will ' perish ' ( meaning be destroyed - Psalm 92:7 ) - 2 Peter 3:9

God doesn't stop being God even if a man stops being godly. You can ignore the image but you can't hide from yourself. Doesn't matter if you hide from the image outside, you can still see it from inside.

Sounds as if you are trying to say that Isaiah believed that worms have: eternal life - Isaiah 66:24
Rather, like corpses left on the battle field are eaten by scavenger birds, the ' worms ' will always consume what is left.
So, their 'worms shall not die' is consistent with that garbage dump of Gehenna.
Gehenna where things were always destroyed forever.
What was Not consumed in Gehenna the worms would finish off.

Matthew 24:40-42

what is it that seizes them vs leaves them behind. what raptures them and why?

lets not get carried away with drama. behold had the spirit of your temple known what hour the shekinah was coming, you would have left a light in the Oeil-de-boeuf of motel 6???

i got you baby

The "wicked"/"tares are gathered "first" (Matthew 13:30 & 38-40 & 49), and the "angels" will do the gathering to cast them into the "furnace of fire". If they had known what is coming, they would have been prepared (Mt 24:43), but apparently they have the story 180 degrees out of alignment, and the "many" (Matthew 7:13) will be caught unaware.

Good one, Fool and remembering Psalms 103:14 that we are: dust.
That reminds me: that Adam was ' dust ' and Adam returned to the 'dust'......Genesis 3:19
Without God then we are but dust.
no you're not just dust. in fact, it's the spirit that forms the dust. jesus says the spirit quickeneth and the flesh counts for nothing. the dust is inert, the spirit is active. here in again is the idea that the dust is eternal too, or that matter is eternal too. when the spirit forms it creates a form using matter. here is an example luke 1:35. this is how all babies are formed in the womb. this is how the earth was formed in the womb of God

nothing is without god. if you can't get that, you're never going to mature spiritually. pretending like god is else where, doesn't exist, or is otherwise is dualistic and adverse to god

in fact, the extreme polarities of left and right will both be caught unawares because of their fundamentalism. this is what jesus meant when saying, your house is left to you desolate.

you seem astonished, why?

a man is both dust and spirit. it ceases to be a son of adam, or son of man; when the spirit disconnects.

god creates things with water(matter) and spirit. it tells you exactly how all things are created in genesis 1:2
