But when you join in the chorus, echoing their misguided and dumb actions, you contribute to it. Please, for the sake of the rest of us who do not want to contribute to the misery and death of others, keep your opinions private, and not shared on a public site. Let them die inside your head, and not contribute to disinformation and dangerous ideas.
When you see people "liking" posts that go against the WHO and CDC's directions, that is reinforcing dangerous misinformation that can lead to public health risk. What needs to happen instead, is post accurate information, or keep your "opinions" to the contrary off the RF site.
People read this stuff, lurkers, and the uninformed, and when they hear others saying "I'm not worried, it's all overblown", that reinforces a dangerously wrong idea, which puts other people at risk. The RF site now has a very strict policy regarding this. Please make yourself informed about that.
This is all a bit rich coming from someone who said we should be fearful (promoting fear), which is a totally stupid thing to say and can induce panic. You, and all the other fear-mongering "sky is falling" types, need to take you own advice and consider your thoughts before you post them. We need logic here.
Don't condescend to me. I saw the staff thread. Actually, I'm putting you on ignore since I'm sick of your hysteria. You're contributing to the problem, imo.
Please provide any quote where I said this. I never said be fearful. I never promoted fear. I advise taking the warnings seriously. That is not the same as "spreading fear". That is called treating it seriously, rather than ignoring the warnings. They are serious, and they need to be respected. That is not fear mongering, that is being responsible to our fellow human beings.
This is quite telling. You don't want to hear the truth.
BTW, I am planning to report any post that violate the RF policy when they spread false information and dangerous advise about this virus. I encourage every other responsible member to help police this as well by reporting to the staff what these deniers are saying here.

I meant it. I will report any post that spreads disinformation about this virus that people as yourself do not take seriously, and encourage others to take it trivally too. I take this seriously, and false information is a threat to public safety. RF will not allow it.

A pragmatic viewpoint may appreciate the decimation of surplus humans. But as you said, the virus is not selective (yet!) and will thin the herd in an indiscriminate manner. What I'm keen on are the systems of government which will be the Brave New World. So don't worry: IQ and other intangibles will be at a premium more than gold, as the human race figures out how it's going to save itself.
And this is ripe opportunity for a charismatic figure to seduce and take the reigns.
