Studying to become freight forwarder.

Last week I started to study customs and logistics, and it looks to be the right choice :) At the end of the study, there will be an exam that I have to pass to get certificated Freight forwarder :) But this feels right for me at this time in life :)

Are there others who work in this field or have experience within freight forwarding?
If yes, what is your experience? Do/did you like it?

I know little of this area of business, having only a small exposure to it when I worked in Dubai for a while many years ago.

But if you are in the UK, business will be desperate for people with those skills. Wherever you are, good luck.

Thank you @exchemist :)
I am currently living in Norway, but yes when I start working I know I will be affected by the new laws and regulations that the UK will experience now when they left the EU. There are many rules that I have to study now :) At this moment I do not know if Europe will be the only part of the world I will be dealing with in my future job. I guess I have to be on the phone and the internet with businesses around the world. So a challenge it will be, but when time is ready, I do hope I will be too :)

Sounds better than being a freight backwarder.

It reminds me that if I ever travel to Canuckistan on an
antique machinery trip, I need to hire a broker to allow
me to cross with Mr Van & my tools. (Border cops don't like
guys with trucks & tools...they don't seem to like anyone.)
