Atheism doesn't exist?:)

I may have a totally skewed idea of rabbis. I have never met one (that I know of) and all the stories are anecdotal or fictional. But all those writers hold their rabbis in high regard and depict them as very wise men (which is, as I've been told, the meaning of rabbi: wise man). Your OP and your arguments haven't met that (unrealistic?) high ideal (yet).
Titles don't make anyone wise. They're all individuals.
Some are wonderful. Others are dunderheads & even
child molesters. So their claims & arguments should
stand on their own merit.
Btw, the same is true of atheists. Despite the great
respect & admiration our group holds, don't trust us.
Some of us are bad.

I totally agree, dude
I heard this argument before. Sine atheist cannot do bad in the name of, it's O.K. It seems a a little bit easy. If an atheist did something wrong, that's O.K since he didnt do it in the name of, and a religious guy, his religion is responsible.
But maybe the essence of atheist can lead to bad . For example, if a man doesn't fear punishment.....

I've been around fire breathing atheists my whole life, yet I've never
heard that argument. Atheism, ie, the non-belief in gods simply
doesn't address good or bad. So to conclude that something bad
is "OK" for us would be ludicrous.

Which atheist are you getting this from?

Atheism has nothing to do with atheists' morality.
But I note that fear of punishment in the afterlife has
a poor record on checking believers' behavior.

'Atheism has nothing to do with atheists' morality.'

Very wrong, atheism is a collective term for atheists and atheist is a 'person who' and applies to the whole person

Mao's China, didn't need God as an excuse to commit genocide against a state's own people.

Was it this one?

Mao was, as far as i know, the only atheist leader(s*). However, i believe like so many other theists, you are confusing atheism with nationalism.

* Your term

Atheists have one claim and one claim only. There is no such thing as atheist ethics or morals. (People who happen to be atheists often have high standards of moral but that is not due to their atheism).
Believers often claim a moral high ground due to their belief. When they fail to deliver it is, according to their own hubris, a failure of their belief system.

No atheists reject theistic claims. Atheist are not making a claim
