Why atheists and agnostics come to this forum?

Sodom and Gomorrah
World Wide Flood

Not so passive

Noah's flood. Physically kicking Adam and Eve out. Commanding the Israelites to kill everyone but the virgin little girls. Killing that one dude who just wanted to steady the Ark of the Covenant. Sending several bears to murder some little kids who were smart-mouthed. Sending plagues to Egypt. Killing all the first born babies in Egypt. Drowning Pharaoh's men, and Pharaoh too.

You have an odd idea of "passive", here...

Live and let die I guess. I personally would change all that with Christianity 2.0. Sometimes I think by "the true light of the world," is signifying that Jesus is the brother of Lucifer. What about this, "forgive me of my trespasses, as I forgive those who trespass against me."

Nice ignoring of 100% of my point, but sure... why not?

Everybody cherry picks the bible, ignoring what they don't like, and puffing up what they do like.

Like some sort of Buffet, I guess. I'd rather cut out the middle man entirely, that way? I do not have to be embarrassed by Exodus 21 or other evils.

Loving God and my neighbor as myself.
Respect and love to my atheist and agnostic brothers and sisters. Why they come to religious forums?
Isn't it that they are searching for spirituality, religion and God. Maybe, deep inside, they want to believe, or maybe deep inside, they do believe:)
Daniel, within which branch of Judaism are you a Rabbi?

If YHWH came to earth which bible should he use?

Or they are curious as to what makes religious folk tick?

I love religions and mythology. The only reason why I am agnostic is because of my current methodology of determining what I currently know to be true. I am not against the idea of a God existing. Also I believe that these beliefs are a form of self expression of those who create them and those that believe in them. They tell us something about those who believe in them.

For instance, studying why people convert to Christianity possibly tells us that many people in the world love its message of love, therefore they are yearn for affection possibly. Or maybe they look forward to the day of Judgement, which might indicate that many people are affected by crime and want the unjust to be punished.

No. Read their posts: in some cases it's curiosity, but many atheists are trying to convert people, just like any other fundamentalists.

Or maybe show them that while their god may be
real enough, many of their beliefs about the
physical world are simply bonkers.

The Masoretic text, untranslated. LOL

Joke aside, I'm sure most people realize that God is already here, as God is everywhere.

Are you telling me I pee on your God all the time?...or maybe he dodged I don't know if He's the kind who likes or not that sort of thing.
