I really don't understand the point you're trying to make. All this says to me is that you don't appear to understand the Abrahamic god-concept. I mean, I don't really understand it either, but I understand it well enough to know this argument doesn't make any sense.

In hindsight I think your right. Who wants to work like a dog and pay insanely exorbitant taxes to the 1% who probably would see it as an extended vacation for them.

I’m unsure of the point of mentioning God in this thread too.
IMO, because we have reached new heights after turning to systematic and rigorous testing instead of turning to omens and gods. Reading tea leaves to check heart health or doppler ultrasound? Casting bones to see weakened and damaged bones or an MRI? It also helps that we are getting over "playing god" when it comes to science and research.

Well to me understanding the material universe doesn't mean we beat God in a basketball game :D
