The UK Labour party promoted the Green New Deal and they got a drubbing in the recent elections.
The people are not buying their propaganda so they are using Greta as their mouthpiece.

Yeah, in general, I would say everyone is tired of celebrities harping on their own causes or the media propping up certain individuals.....doesn't matter when it comes to the basic argument.
But you took someone propped up by the media, who I don't care about, and offered up some evidence.
That evidence was wrong.
While you wanted it to be about Greta this thread is about your evidence. And you are making it more about you the more you deny it to detract from the false evidence you have provided.

Uhhh, many Australian states have had fire bans in place due to the drought conditions for a long *** while.
Of course a few may have started due to an accident or a fire bug. Thats nothing really new in Australia, honestly.
But the recent bushfires here are nothing to what we’re used to seeing. I grew up on the scent of nearby bushfire smoke, thinking nothing of it. The recent ones, man we’re literally scavenging volunteers from overseas just to compensate. A big shoutout to our Canadian friends for sending over a bunch of volunteer firefighters just recently.

If the general public thought it was an important issue, the Labour party would be running the UK.
How many MPs does the Green party have in the UK?
Those running the UK are considering cutting the air passenger duty regardless of the carbon plan.
The UK has a prince that was recently lecturing Britons on climate change before boarding private jets and now he is considering moving to the west coast of Canada but he and his wife will be commuting backwards and forwards on a regular basis.

I watched this debate last night and guess who won.

Your rambling list of example reasons for debunking global warming has failed to answer the increasing average temperatures, the receding glaciers, the reducing ice caps, the lowering sea oxygen levels, the whole dreadful list of evidence, instead you mumble on about individuals, political parties, in fact any redirection possible.
Sir David Attenborough and people like him are not politicians, they just know what they are talking about.
Clearly the UK is very strong about all this, just look at our amazing coastal windfarms and our vast solar voltaic fields. You are clearly blind to the situation imo.

Greta has not done the eco warriors any favours.
If the UK is very strong about all this, it is time the likes of Extinction Rebellion took their protests to countries that are lagging behind the UK. I recommend China.

The sea has hardly risen in hundreds of years, in fact the District of Thanet, Kent, UK was once an Island, but now it's separating waterway, where pirates abounded and the Roman forts of Reculver and Richborough were built to keep them out, all is high and dry .... land.
But the sea will rise significantly over the next few decades, and that seems to have begun already.
People like Greta and Sir David Attenborough are devoting their time to bringing this to the World's attention. If the World isn't listening then they have done their best.

Why would she have watched some random video you pulled from Youtube and Reddit? You are assuming this video has far more influence than it does with the only expert being an expert in history...
Her UN speech used the May 2019 UN climate report. She uses sources far more established than random youtube videos.
