Human footprint on 500 million year old trilobite fossil

That you are so quick to be taken in by this
silly nonsense from a team sworn to intellectual
dishonesty says all we need to know about the
probable integrity of your "spiritual ttuths."
Until that last sentence your post was OK. Nothing in Amanaki's OP suggest that s/he is "taken in by this silly nonsense".

That is the author of the article`s words, not mine, so I can not answer why it was written that way.
I only asked the question of what creationists and evolutionists thought of this.

Fair enough, though maybe you might have checked the credentials of the source before posting it. Anyway, I have now done some checking and found the following:

"Beyond Logic Science is a YouTube channel run by Mike "Mikey" Chen[2][3] that promotes any pseudoscientific idea that can be boiled down to a clickbait title, a "mysterious" thumbnail, and flashy pictures.

As of June 2017, the main channel had over 1.7 million subscribers and 243 million views.[2] Chen also operates channels The CheNews, The Chen Dynasty, and Strictly Dumpling, which are much less bad."

(source: Rationalwiki)

So the assertion that scientists are baffled is indeed lies, designed to fit the agenda of pseudoscientific "mysteries-of-the-ancients" woo that this outfit purveys to the gullible.

So now we have the answer to your question of why science has not commented on it. It is a non-issue, dreamt up by liars and woomeisters.

That old chestnut? Where is the supposed footprint? Do you know what a footprint looks like?

no scientist is baffled.

Also interesting are the 'laeoli footprints' which are contemporary with the Lucy fossil
which are instinguishable from a modern habitually barefoot modern human footprint of adult walking with child.

There you have it modern living side by side with chimpanzee.... but... humans live side by side with chimpanzee sometime...

The Laetoli footprints are those of Australopithecus afarensis. There is no mystery about these either.

You would think that creationists could do better than continually recycling 52 year old arguments which have been refuted already.
It depends on who they think they are speaking to.

I've come to the conclusion that almost all creationist arguments are really designed to appeal to fellow creationists, to reinforce their beliefs and perhaps to do a bit of the so-called "witnessing" that their benighted version of Christianity seems to mandate. I don't think they seriously hope to sway anyone who knows much about the subject in question.

Nothing? Try everything. Obviously he was taken in by an illegit site,
and every phrase shows he thinks it is real.
NOTE SVP, it was not why religionists are fooled, not why they
lie like this. No, its all "puzzled" why are they afraid of the truth.

If our hero cares to step forth and say if he believed any of it for
half a second, he can settle thst much, tho his credibility is near
zero with me, at least.

But they keep on trying them on we who do have some education.
I think they they we believe we'rd even bigger fools than they are.

We do now. Neither existed then.

500 Million-Year-Old Human Footprint Fossil Baffles Scientists

How do creationists and evolutionists see this in their own beliefs?
How come that science has not spoken about finding like this the same way they speak of other forms of science?
Are science afraid of saying they are wrong? or does it go deeper than that?

So sorry: that website has zero credibility. It's akin to those old Supermarket Checkout "papers" that often featured badly photoshopped pictures of "alien babies" or "wolfman child" or "proof of bigfoot" or other nonsense.

Glancing at the home page? I spotted several click-bait, and outright fraudulent titles alone. If the title is fraud? I doubt the article underneath it is any better.

So no. Not even going to go there, not going to bother reading a puff-piece either.

The creationist team included Dr. Duane Gish of the Institute for Creation Research and Reverend Boswell of a local Sacramento church.

The Institute for Creation Research
https://www.icr.org/home/search
As a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry of the USA, all gifts to ICR are completely tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by U.S. law.

Oh! I see you have linked to the All Lies, All The Time page. It is so full of deliberate false-hoods, that if ICR published an article stating "Sun Rises in the East" I'd have to stay up all night, just in case...

Nothing they publish is based on any sort of fact. Nothing. They begin with a "conclusion" and then fabricate whatever "argument" they require to "support" the "conclusion".

Just to add to this, it seems the "footprint" was discovered by someone actually called Mr W Meister! You couldn't make it up! :D

You are incorrect.

I used to collect creationist books, magazines, and tracts until they were all destroyed in the Great Flood [in my basement]. The garbage that is largely presented on most simply is intended to mislead, and imagine someone doing this in the names of "God" and "Jesus" because this garbage doesn't appear on its own on the pages.

The solution is quite obvious. Some human in the future will finally create a working time machine, and will go back in time to see what it was like. While there, he will accidentally leave the footprint, mystifying all those of us who still believe that time travel is impossible.

No, I don't think so. That would require study or at least some investigation. Things real creationists don't have time for.
