Renouncing Simulation Theory

Over the past couple of weeks I have made numerous posts on these forums which advocated “Simulation Theory”

I would like to take this opportunity to publicly renounce this so-called theory, and the paranoid and ridiculous conspiracy theory I made that came from it.

Publicly renouncing Simulation Theory is the purpose of this post:

I hereby renounce Simulation Theory as ridiculous and paranoid, and believe it to be a device of the devil which serves to lead both myself (and others) away from God

I am now engaged in spiritual warfare – to rid myself of the wicked being who has done so much to mislead me over the years and make me make a fool of myself and drive me to madness…

I have made a prayer for people who are haunted by Satanic beings:

Dear Lord

Please expel the troublemaker who occupies my head

Purge my consciousness of his influence

And set my mind free from him

So that I might know peace

Amen.

The important thing is that you don't let your psychosis take advantage of your belief about simulation theory. There are sane people who believe in simulation theory.

Maybe, but I believe you cannot be a Christian and also a person who believes in Simulation Theory, I believe the two are mutually exclusive, and cancel each other out

E.g. Jesus in Sim Theory is just a trick played by "The Simulation" to fool people into forming the Christian religion, rather than God incarnate coming to bring salvation etc.

Unless one believes that God Almighty would intervene in a computer simulation that exists within the base reality of His creation (e.g. by interfering with the programming to make miracles happen) - which I don't believe he would, when he can make miracles happen in the real world

I'm a big fan of the Simulation Hypothesis - as a thought experiment and an argumentation device. Knowing the perks and flaws it is still useful even if it is unfalsifiable.

I don't know... I think it's possible that my brain is in a vat.
Maybe Jesus Christ in that vat is a representative of a Jesus Christ outside of the vat.

Anyway, the important thing is to manage your psychosis.
