I would call my mom, tell her I love her, then she would probably say something about us seeing eachother in heaven. I'd tell her no you won't cause I'm an atheist, then she'd lose it. That'd be a hell of a way for her to find out I wasn't a believer.

I burst laughing when I saw call your mom. If only she would answer the darn phone.
I remember two events. A huge crash overhead was so loud we couldn't detect what it was. Everyone stayed in their homes but my brother and I wanted to investigate. It could have been aliens for all we knew but we had to look up.
Then a more practical event at my other school they built new a few new buildings. We haven't had an earthquake in I don't know how long in VA and they said the building shook and everyone took off. I was in the older building on the bottom floor and felt nothing. I came up saw everyone holding hands in a circle and praying to god as if judgement day was here. I looked puzzled, then kept walking and let everyone else fill me in later that day.
Yeah, you do get that way pretty quick.

None of the answers are suitable for me. The closest would be call mom but there is not really much point in that, a conversation that is ultimately futile and gone completely in a few minutes.
I would spend about 25 minutes being close (euphemism) to my husband. Then gather the family together to end as one, (each with fingers in our ears)

Yes, we should. But it was a good answer from @ChristineM so it was a reason I answer her post the way did.
But of course, we should always treat our family with love and care.
