One author wrote that God's passion was for God's glory.

For the sake of your name in the psalms

My God has a penchant for Revealing Himself to humanity through Prophets and Messengers. He likes to see good flourish in the world and evil pushed back.

The passion to me is to take on the suffering of humanity and raise the world by infusing it with ever more divine light.

God Shiva in the Prajapita Brahmakumaris ( also known as Jehovah, Ahura Mazda , Allah in other religions) have the objective of tranforming the thorn-like human beings in the world to flowers, through changing their state of consciousness from body-consciousness/unconsciousness to soul-consciousness.

As per God Shiva, the five vices are ego, attachment, lust, anger, greed springing from body-consciousness. And soul-consciousness, the constant realization that one is an eternal soul in a temporary organic body, along with remembrance of God is the antidote for this negative state of body-consciousness/unconsciousness.

The God of theist Hindus (Rama) that I admire was passionate about truth. He said "Truth is the God in the world".

satyam eva īśvaro loke satyam padmā samāśritā l
satya mūlāni sarvāṇi satyān nāsti param padam ll
2-109-13

"Truth is god and all virtues depend on truth. All are rooted in truth there is nothing higher than truth."

What? Me worry?
Obviously God must be passionate about having human trait superimposed upon the unfathomable...

The God I know about is very big on transformations. From nuclear fusion to the cycle of life.
And spheres and spirals. He's got a thing for those.

God doesn't much care for beginnings and endings, squares or lines, or that sort of stuff.

Sooo...how does He feel about those self-check out thingies?

I'm not sure if the version of God I understand would be passionate about anything. It's the people who are passionate about he/she.
