Funny how only those who believe in a personal deity can blame god.

No true servant of God blames him for anything. For blame to be apportioned a measure of guilt has to be proven by witnesses.....who is a witness against the Creator? Who was there in the beginning to testify that life and the universe are just monumental accidents? Who fully understands the reason for our existence?

I will believe the Bible because I have proven its wisdom and accuracy for myself....I will never believe human wisdom because of how appallingly it has been applied throughout all of history.

No true servant of God blames him for anything.
And those without belief never blame god. Even tempted to do less so, I would reckon.
And "no true believer" is hogwash at best because even Jesus cried "Father why have you forsaken me?" as he was dying.

Funny how humans are quick to blame God for just about everything when they want to justify carrying out their own will, but never blame themselves when ignoring his laws goes horribly wrong...go figure.

If you are so concerned about God's will, exercising your right to vote for one whose moral compass is most in line for the greater good.

I mention the OT because Jesus explicitly stated he did not come to do away with the law or prophets and it still all applies, even warning against those who claim otherwise .

Jesus said more than just that....he said he came “to fulfill “ it. When something is fulfilled, it’s usefulness is over.

What is Acts of the Apostles 15, about? It’s about circumcision, which was part of the Law. Was it required anymore? No.

See you’ve got to understand all Scripture — how they fit together — before making a judgement call. I did what you do...until I was taught better.

Whoa....understand what this expression meant. Jesus was about to give up his life....a life which, up until that time, was protected by his God and Father. In order for that life to end, God had to withdraw that protection from his son. This is what Jesus felt at that moment before his heart stopped beating.

That is pure speculation, and not Biblically supported. Jesus Christ had his moment of doubt, and the Bible recorded it.

Jesus told us to have nothing to do with this world....because of who is running the show.

1 John 5:19....
“We know that we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.”

If Satan is ruling the world, as he said to Jesus at Luke 4:5-8, that means that all the kingdoms of the world are under his control.
A vote for any potential leader or party is a vote for those supporting satan’s rulership, regardless of how many promises they make. Humans cannot fulfil their promises. Power corrupts them, every time.

Do you see a moral compass ever exercised in politics? It’s a powerful machine where the individual, no matter how good their intentions, gets lost in the mechanism and becomes politically impotent.

Man will never solve the problems, because man IS the problem. God will bring in the rule of his kingdom without human intervention. (Daniel 2:44) This is what we pray for in the Lord’s Prayer. It is God’s Kingdom that will see God’s will “done, on earth as it is in heaven”. It’s coming....ready or not.

You don’t know Jesus very well, do you? It was the human expression of a man who had been tortured to the limit of his endurance.....his very last words were....
“Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.” After he said this, he expired.” (Luke 23:46)

There was no doubt. He simply felt God’s spirit leave him in order for him to die.

Luke 4:10 confirms God’s protection of his son until the completion of his mission.
