What do you mean by form?
If you mean “appearance”, then I’m not sure what the mystery is. It’s easier to appear than to do. If it weren’t hard to do good, then we wouldn’t be so constantly surprised and impressed when we see or hear about people doing good things.
appearance, or form, like a snapshot of the action in a given space/time. its both a particle and a wave. but if the form ceases to exist, then of course, the person is wrong in believing the wave ceases to exist. does the person cease to exist when the person steps outside of your sensual horizon?
I think you may be mixing your metaphors. A photon is both particle and wave, yes. But if the particle disappears, the wave also disappears because they are two aspects of the same entity.
As for the person, of course the person still exists even if he moves out of my sensory range. But, if his body— his form— dies, then his actions— his substance— also dies. There is nothing left to act.
I suppose one could argue that the person’s actions live on in memory or perhaps in some work he set up while living. But that is metaphoric and not actual life.
You are focused on form instead of action here.
Actions would be freeze, melt, boil, coalesce, evaporate, etc.
Some actions like the above mentioned and others such as dissolve and precipitate don't involve chemical or {alchemical
} changes, but actions such as fermentation do result in changes on the molecular level (but not necessarily on the nuclear level.)
