Yes, but at the time of Daniel 11:13-15 because there Antiochus IV proved to be in the role of the King of the North at that particular time.
What about people who blindly follow the traditions of elders in a new sect?

How do you know about events from the pas? Or events in other countries?
To me what Jesus said at Matthew 15:9 as to Not following traditions (or customs) of men places one's worship in vain.
So, the principle applies whether old or new. If Not scriptural such traditions are out of harmony with Scripture.
Of course we read about them, so, you think Daniel just read about them.
In high school I found even encyclopedias can vary in information.
People also said that Belshazzar's name was no where. Yet in 1854 was found some small clay cylinders which included Bel-sar-ussur that he was the Belshazzar of Daniel's book.
To me, Daniel's first-hand knowledge is indicated in his details, for instance at Daniel 3:1-6.
Or heard about it.
So, I wonder what verse or passage makes you think faithful Daniel was Not an eyewitness.

Pence sure made a mess in his home state. His family business cost the tax payers tens of millions to clean up old leaking gas tanks at all the gas stations his family owned. He is an incompetent boob especially when it comes to environmental issues.

I do not want a theocrat for president, and I would force Trump to remain in office at gun point of need be. Don't forget, Trump being removed from office will mean a president who has fought to baulk, hinder, deny, and revoke LGBT rights (he did fight to keep same sex marriage out of Indiana even after the Supreme Court did legalize it). Women's rights and health care as well may be compromised and jeopardize.
Trump must remain in office least we risk going back to school prayers, have an increase in laws based on conservative Christianity, and public schools teaching kids condoms don't work in their health class and the earth is 6000 years old in their science class. He must not be allowed in.

And quit worrying? Pence has already fought against my rights once. The only reassurance i have is that i live in California now and he can't revoke and deny my rights again. But thats one state. He can go after those in many more.
