Try 14 centuries. After 14 centuries, the closest thing any Muslim has ever done to actually showing empathy to assure us all "Not all Muslims" are like this. I'm sorry, but until you have actually done something about those that are like this (such as oh I dunno, jailing or fining), you effectively condone this. In fact, some Islamic states have reportedly given economically to families of suicide killers.

It's no different than bad drug laws that people are sentenced to jail for. People believe certain drugs are bad because they are illegal, and they believe they are illegal because they are bad, this kind of circular reasoning is instilled in people once laws are in place. So who is innocent and who is guilty once bad laws are instilled? We can point fingers at people living in Pakistan but it can happen anywhere.
