Commonly known as spider plant or falangio in Italian, it is a very common apartment plant, easy to grow but needing constant care.

It needs peat as soil but too much water can damage the roots and so the plant itself, so no stagnating water in the cold seasons is a must.

I find these things practically indestructible. Even my teenage son can't kill the one has has outside his room. He ignores it until the colour starts to fade from the leaves and then waters it and it perks up again.

Had one in the UK. It budded every year so i assume we treated it right.

I agree they're practically indestructible. Does anyone know how to care for a Venus Flytrap? They are fascinating.
