What's the best thread you ever made?

Surely one stands out above the rest, a monumental thread, created by you, that you're really proud of...

Let's relive that moment! :)

If people haven't figured it out by now, I've been one of the top thread posters since I joined, well in terms of quantity at least. Let me look back and see if there's anything really memorable.

Off the top of my head, the one about men wearing crop-tops got very weird... and interesting.

I actually know of one I made that was just bizarre, but I'm not sure it should be brought back up to light. No, I'll try to find an interesting one...

You know, I just realized how hard it is to find old threads you've created.

Mine was about philosophy. Some keywords I searched for didn't show any results though...

You can go to your profile and under the ‘postings’ tab you can select ‘find all threads by...’

I haven't made a thread here except my intro. On the old Disqus I once asserted that "All YEC are Necessarily Conspiracy Theorists" and defended that position even against the conspiracy theorists.

Hm. I like the informative threads I create. Some of them are on LGBTQ issues and such. Giving information and teaching and all that is something I like regardless if anyone "likes" it or not. I do put a good effort into it.

There is one gay 15 year old in a conservative (and I don't know if foreign country because the US would have did something) and religious household. H/She* gave a whole post in the safe LGBTQ forum about how his father beat him up an hour ago of him writing (on his ipad I think). The father told him that god hated him (forgot the exact words) and he broke his laptop and so forth.

The son left the house and went to the library. We were trying to get him to call 911, social services or child protective services. He came back home for shelter (we were saying to find shelter) and that's when the father grounded him. He also had a boyfriend but the father took him out of school so to home school him.

I honestly don't believe it was here in the US (he didn't say) because they would have took him out for sure. The whole forum was trying to help but we haven't heard since his last posted update.

People can say they love god and on the other hand genuinely believe their son or daughter will go to hell or pay the price for being gay, lesbian, so have you. You don't have to be a monster too do all this.

Posts like this I'm not proud, if you get what I mean, but informative and personal nonetheless.

Can't think of anything else worth noting.

I don't start many threads because the subject matter must be meaningful to me in some way. So it wasn't difficult to find what i consider the best. Post count wise it was a flop but that doesn't matter.
