Catholic Anathema is the, Hurl into Hell, weapon of Jesus’ Angels of the Apocalypse.

Matthew 13:36

The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. Just as weeds are collected and burned (up) with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all who cause others to sin and all evildoers. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears ought to hear."

Matthew 13:47
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net thrown into the sea, which collects fish of every kind. When it is full they haul it ashore and sit down to put what is good into buckets. What is bad they throw away. Thus it will be at the end of the age. The angels will go out and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.
Jesus’ big gun, on the battlefield of Armageddon, is the Sword of Christ’s Mouth (Revelation 19:15). The Sword of Christ’s Mouth is Jesus’ lips binding sinners to their sins (Isaiah 11:1). Jesus blew the Holy Spirit upon His Apostles and swore to them that anyone whom they, call up Jesus to bind to sin on earth, He will bind to sin in heaven. There is no deadlier weapon than Jesus lips binding sinners to their sins, which Jesus authorized His Catholic Bishops to use, when needed, for the protection of His Church. Jesus’ Power to bind sins, which He placed on Catholic Bishops, is Catholic Church Anathema.

In the Book of Revelation, Jesus refers to His Catholic Bishops as ‘angels’. It seems extremely likely that the ‘armies of heaven’, serving under Jesus’ Command, at the Battle of Armageddon, will be Catholic Apostolic Successors, armed with Catholic Anathema, on earth. In Jesus’ ‘Coming of the Son of Man’ parables, the ‘angels’, separating out the righteous from the wicked sure looks like Apostolic Successors wielding the Christ given ‘Keys to the Kingdom’. The righteous would be those having their sins loost, by Jesus’ lips, in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and Jesus ‘Divine Mercy Feast Day’. The (unrepentant) wicked, being bundled up for burning, would be those having their sins bound, by Jesus lips, in Catholic Anathema.

What do my Catholic Friends think? Catholic Clergy sure seem to have the fire power, and loosting power, to be Christ’s Great, Combat Angels of the Apocalypse.

Revelation 1:16
A sharp, two-edged sword came out of his mouth, and his face shone like the sun at its brightest. When I caught sight of him I fell down at his feet as though dead, he touched me with his right hand and said: "There is nothing to fear. I am the First and the Last and the One who lives. Once I was dead but not I live-- forever and ever. I hold the keys of death and the nether world."

Matthew 16:13

Jesus replied, "Blest are you, Simon son of John! No mere man has revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. I for my part declare to you, you are 'Rock,' and on this rock I will build my church, and the jaws of death shall not prevail against it. I will entrust to you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you declare bound on earth shall be bound in heaven; whatever you declare loosed on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

John 20:20

At the sight of the Lord the disciples rejoiced. "Peace be with you," he said again. "As the Father has sent me, so I send you." Then he breathed on them and said: "Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive men's sins, they are forgiven them; if you hold them bound, they are held bound."

Revelation 2:8
"To the angel of the church in Smyrna, write this:... "

Revelation 2:18
"To the angel of the church in Thyatira, write this:...

Matthew 18:15 Fraternal Correction.
"If your brother should commit some wrong against you, go and point out his fault, but keep it between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. If he does not listen, summon another, so that every case may stand on the word of two or three witnesses. If he ignores them, refer it to the church . If he ignores even the church, then treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector. I assure you, whatever you declare bound on earth shall be held bound in heaven, and whatever you declare loosed on earth shall be held loosed in heaven."

Revelation 19:11 The King of Kings.
The heavens were opened, and as I looked on, a white horse appeared; its rider was called "The Faithful and True." Justice is his standard in passing judgment and in waging war. His eyes blazed like fire, and on his head were many diadems. Inscribed on his person was a name known to no one but himself. He wore a cloak that had been dipped in blood, and his name was the Word of God. The armies of heaven were behind him riding white horses and dressed in fine linen, pure and white. Out of his mouth came a sharp sword for striking down the nations. He will shepherd them with an iron rod; it is he who will tread out in the winepress the blazing wrath of God the Almighty. A name was written on the part of the cloak that covered his thigh: "King of kings and Lord of lords."...

Isaiah 11:1 The Rule of Immanuel

But a shoot shall sprout from the stump of Jesse, and from his roots a bud shall blossom. The spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him: a spirit of wisdom and of understanding, A spirit of counsel and of strength, a spirit of knowledge and of fear of the LORD, and his delight shall be the fear of the LORD. Not by appearance shall he judge, nor by hearsay shall he decide, But he shall judge the poor with justice, and decide fairly for the land's afflicted. He shall strike the ruthless with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall slay the wicked. Justice shall be the band around his waist, and faithfulness a belt upon his hips. Then the wolf shall be a guest of the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat; The calf and the young lion shall browse together, with a little child to guide them.

Anathema

..."To understand the word anathema", says Vigouroux, "we should first go back to the real meaning of herem of which it is the equivalent. Herem comes from the word haram, to cut off, to separate, to curse, and indicates that which is cursed and condemned to be cut off or exterminated, whether a person or a thing, and in consequence, that which man is forbidden to make use of."...

...but anathematized, and that he may be stricken by the sword of Heaven"....

..."Know that Engeltrude is not only under the ban of excommunication, which separates her from the society of the brethren, but under the anathema, which separates from the body of Christ, which is the Church."...

..."If, after having been deposed from office, he is incorrigible, he should first be excommunicated; but if he perseveres in his contumacy he should be stricken with the sword of anathema; but if plunging to the depths of the abyss, he reaches the point where he despises these penalties, he should be given over to the secular arm."...

...In passing this sentence, the pontiff is vested in amice, stole, and a violet cope, wearing his miter, and assisted by twelve priests clad in their surplices and holding lighted candles. He takes his seat in front of the altar or in some other suitable place, amid pronounces the formula of anathema which ends with these words: Wherefore in the name of God the All-powerful, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, of the Blessed Peter, Prince of the Apostles, and of all the saints, in virtue of the power which has been given us of binding and loosing in Heaven and on earth, we deprive N-- himself and all his accomplices and all his abettors of the Communion of the Body and Blood of our Lord, we separate him from the society of all Christians, we exclude him from the bosom of our Holy Mother the Church in Heaven and on earth, we declare him excommunicated and anathematized and we judge him condemned to eternal fire with Satan and his angels and all the reprobate , so long as he will not burst the fetters of the demon, do penance and satisfy the Church; we deliver him to Satan to mortify his body, that his soul may be saved on the day of judgment."

He who dares to despise our decision, let him be stricken with anathema maranatha, i.e. may he be damned at the coming of the Lord, may he have his place with Judas Iscariot, he and his companions.

Another reason I think Jesus’ Angels of the Apocalypse are Catholic Apostolic Successors, is because Isaiah tells us that Jesus is going to Rule, on earth, Using the sword of His Mouth (Jesus Power to bind and loost sins). We know that Jesus is going to Rule with and through His Church, the Catholic Church, who already possess this same sword of binding and loosting. How handy is this?

In Revelation 10, we have an angel reading a small scroll. Right after the scroll is read, Jesus takes over as King and Ruler of the world. In Zechariah 5, we see a scroll of anathemas being sent out to destroy all the wicked in the world. I think both verses are talking about a scroll of anathemas being read, by Angels of the Apocalypse, right before Jesus takes over as King and Ruler of the world, upon victory at Armageddon. Then we have Angels of the Apocalypse pouring out the seven bowls of God’s Wrath on earth, right before Jesus is enthroned as King and Ruler of the world (Revelation 16:16). This also looks like Angels of the Apocalypse reading a scroll of auto anathemas, putting Jesus' Laws into enforcement on earth.

Jesus is not King and Ruler of the world, until His Subjects (Catholic Apostolic Successors), put His Laws, into enforcement on earth. Once Catholic Bishops read the worldwide, binding on all, Armageddon Scroll of auto anathemas, Jesus takes over as King and Ruler of the world. We go into Messianic Reign, to live in Jesus' Kingdom Come, on earth, where Jesus will wipe away our every tear.

Hallelujah! Let Jesus Rule! Take us into Jesus' Kingdom Come, Combat Angels of the Apocalypse!

Oh, but, Angels of the Apocalypse, please give people some time to get their Wedding Garment on, before you read the Armageddon scroll. We want Jesus' Wedding Banquet to be full, and the Bride looking her best, with her sins cleansed in Jesus Divine Mercy Feast Day, in preparation for the Second Coming, Wedding Day, of our Groom!
Are You Immersed in Jesus’, Divine Mercy Feast Day, Wedding Garment?

Revelation 10:1
Then I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven wrapped in a cloud, with a halo around his head; his face was like the sun and his feet were like pillars of fire. In his hand he held a small scroll that had been opened. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, and then he cried out in a loud voice as a lion roars. When he cried out, the seven thunders raised their voices, too. When the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to write it down; but I heard a voice from heaven say, 'Seal up what the seven thunders have spoken, but do not write it down.' Then the angel I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven and swore by the one who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and earth and sea and all that is in them, 'There shall be no more delay. At the time when you hear the seventh angel blow his trumpet, the mysterious plan of God shall be fulfilled, as he promised to his servants the prophets.'

Zechariah 5:1
Then I raised my eyes again and saw a scroll flying. 'What do you see?' he asked me. I answered, 'I see a scroll flying; it is twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.' Then he said to me: 'This is the curse which is to go forth over the whole earth; in accordance with it shall every thief be swept away, and in accordance with it shall every perjurer be expelled from here. I will send it forth, says the LORD of hosts, and it shall come into the house of the thief, or into the house of him who perjures himself with my name; it shall lodge within his house, consuming it, timber and stones.' Then the angel who spoke with me came forward and said to me, 'Raise your eyes and see what this is that comes forth.' 'What is it?' I asked. And he answered, 'This is a bushel container coming. This is their guilt in all the land.' Then a leaden cover was lifted, and there was a woman sitting inside the bushel. 'This is Wickedness,' he said; and he thrust her inside the bushel, pushing the leaden cover into the opening.
Revelation 16:16
They then assembled the kings in the place that is named Armageddon in Hebrew.

The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air. A loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying, 'It is done.' Then there were lightning flashes, rumblings, and peals of thunder, and a great earthquake. It was such a violent earthquake that there has never been one like it since the human race began on earth. The great city was split into three parts, and the gentile cities fell. But God remembered great Babylon, giving it the cup filled with the wine of his fury and wrath.

Jesus The Divine Mercy

Jesus looked at me and said, Souls perish in spite of My bitter Passion. I am giving them the last hope of salvation; that is, the Feast of My Mercy. If they will not adore My mercy, they will perish for all eternity. Secretary of My mercy, write, tell souls about this great mercy of Mine, because the awful day, the day of My justice, is near. (Diary - Divine Mercy in My Soul, 965)

The Blessed Virgin Mary :
...you have to speak to the world about His great mercy and prepare the world for the Second Coming of Him who will come, not as a merciful Savior, but as a just Judge. Oh, how terrible is that day! Determined is the day of justice, the day of divine wrath. The angels tremble before it. Speak to souls about this great mercy while it is still the time for [granting] mercy. If you keep silent now, you will be answering for a great number of souls on that terrible day. ... (Diary - Divine Mercy in My Soul,635)

Hello Metis,
You are not alone. The majority of Christians believe that Jesus was 'just kidding' when He talks of all those people Apocalyptic Angels are going to hurl into hell, upon Jesus' Second Coming. As well as all the 45 pulse times Jesus tells us, in His Gospels, just whom He is going to burn in hell or not forgive.

As for me, I believe in Jesus' Word on whom He, or His Angels, are going to burn in hell.

Matthew 7:21
"None of those who cry out, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of God but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. When that day comes, many will plead with me, 'Lord, Lord,' have we not prophesied in your name? have we not exorcized demons by its power? Did we not do many miracles in your name as well? Then I will declare to them solemnly, I never knew you. Out of my sight, you evildoers!"

Matthew 25:41

Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.' Then they will answer and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to your needs?' He will answer them, 'Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.' And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

Luke 16:19 The Rich Man and Lazarus
"There was a rich man who dressed in purple garments and fine linen and dined sumptuously each day. And lying at his door was a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who would gladly have eaten his fill of the scraps that fell from the rich man's table. Dogs even used to come and lick his sores. When the poor man died, he was carried away by angels to the bosom of Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried, and from the netherworld, where he was in torment, he raised his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. And he cried out, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me. Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am suffering torment in these flames.' Abraham replied, 'My child, remember that you received what was good during your lifetime while Lazarus likewise received what was bad; but now he is comforted here, whereas you are tormented. Moreover, between us and you a great chasm is established to prevent anyone from crossing who might wish to go from our side to yours or from your side to ours.'

John 5:27
"The Father has given over to him power to pass judgment because he is Son of Man; no need for you to be surprised at this, for an hour is coming in which all those in their tombs shall hear his voice and come forth. Those who have done right shall rise to live; the evildoers shall rise to be damned."

Revelation 2:22
"I mean to cast her down on a bed of pain; her companions in sin I will plunge into intense suffering unless they repent of their sins with her, and her children I will put to death. Thus shall all the churches come to know that I am the searcher of hearts and minds, and that I will give each of you what your conduct deserves."

Revelation 22:12
"Remember, I am coming soon! I bring with me the reward that will be given to each man as his conduct deserves. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End! Happy are they who wash their robes so as to have free access to the tree of life and enter the city through its gates Outside are the dogs and sorcerers, the fornicators and murderers, the idol-worshipers and all who love falsehood."

Matthew 6:9 The Lord's Prayer
"This is how you are to pray: 'Our Father in heaven hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven ...//...
Subject us not to trial but deliver us from the evil one.'

Well, lets take a look at some pictures of the Newly Weds, in Jesus’ Kingdom Come, on earth, The New Jerusalem. Jesus says He is going to tear down the temple made of stone and build a new temple not built of stone. I take this to mean that Jesus is going to abide in the body of His Church, the post Armageddon, Catholic Church, on earth. Jesus residing with us, and in us, in a very new and spectacular way. In other words, Jesus will be married to His Bride, the Church, the post apocalyptic, Catholic Church.

The Lord’s Prayer, tells us that in Jesus’ Kingdom Come, God’s Will will be done on earth as it is in heaven. How do we accomplish this. Scripture tells us about the New Jerusalem, that nothing profane will be allowed in, or ever be inside the New Jerusalem.

Well, a wall of auto anathemas around the New Jerusalem, kicking sinners out of the New Jerusalem, milliseconds before they sin, and the Sacraments of Baptism and Reconciliation, cleans you before you enter, or reenter, the New Jerusalem, seems to make a delightful home for Jesus, who is God and cannot be united to sin, to be united to His, free willed man, Bride, the Church, the post Armageddon Catholic Church, on earth.

Old Testament Scriptures just raves about the splendor of the Restored Kingdom of Israel, New Jerusalem, aka Zion. The nations stream to her! People are healed, there is protection and prosperity in the New Jerusalem. Anyone, not living to be 100 years, old is an extreme exception. People jump and run around like they are children, even after 100 years old.

Do you think the present day, poor, meek, humble, handicapped, chronically ill, dying, are not going to want Jesus’ Kingdom Come’ to be built on earth? Especially when it only takes Angels of the Apocalypse, reading the Armageddon Scroll, to build it! Scripture indicates it only takes one hour, for the Battle of Armageddon to take place. Lets build us, cleans the Church, with the Divine Mercy Feast Day, Sacraments, jettison the unrepentant wicked with anathema, and be married to Jesus, living in the New Jerusalem, in three days. First we bend over backwards trying to get the wicked to repent and accept Jesus' Divine Mercy Feast Day, in order to come in with us, of course. I say, Halalujah! Come Lord Jesus Come! Marry Us! We have been waiting for this moment for millenniums. We Love You, Jesus!

Revelation 21:9 The New Jerusalem.
One of the seven angels who held the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the woman who is the bride of the Lamb." He carried me away in spirit to the top of a very high mountain and showed me the holy city of Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God. It gleamed with the splendor of God. The city had the radiance of a precious jewel that sparkled like a diamond. Its wall, massive and high, had twelve gates at which twelve angles were stationed. Twelve names were written on the gates, the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. There were three gates facing east, three north, three south, and three west. The wall of the city had twelve courses of stones as its foundation, on which were written the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

The one who spoke to me held a rod of gold for measuring the city, its gates, and its wall. The city is perfectly square, its length and its width being the same. He measured the city with the rod and found it twelve thousand furlongs in length, in width, and in height. Its wall measured a hundred and forty-four cubits in height by the unit of measurement the angel used. The wall was constructed of jasper; the city was of pure gold, crystal clear. The foundation of the city wall was ornate with precious stones of every sort: the first course of stones was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh hyacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each made of a single pearl; and the streets of the city were of pure gold, transparent as glass.

I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God almighty and the Lamb. The city had no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gave it light, and its lamp was the Lamb. The nations will walk by its light, and to it the kings of the earth will bring their treasure. During the day its gates will never be shut, and there will be no night there. The treasure and wealth of the nations will be brought there, but nothing unclean will enter it, nor any[one] who does abominable things or tells lies. Only those will enter whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Hello Steven.
My orientation on this is very different than yours, but I have no interest in pursuing this. As you well know, we Catholics don't always see eye to eye on some things, but I'm sure there's many other things that you and I do agree on.

So, may you and yours have a Very Merry Christmas, and take care.

O come, O come, Emmanuel,

And ransom captive Israel,

That mourns in lonely exile here

Until the Son of God appear.

Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel

Shall come to thee, O Israel.

ACT 1:6
When they had gathered together they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?" He answered them, "It is not for you to know the times or seasons that the Father has established by his own authority. But you will receive power when the holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." When he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight.

There are those who feel that Israel should have just stayed in captivity in Egypt, rather than have God go head to head with the Pharaoh, sending the Pharaoh' army to the bottom of the sea.

Yes, Jesus First Coming did rescue Israel from their sins. Hallelujah!

Upon His Ascension, Jesus Promises to Return to, ‘Set Israel free’, in the way that the Apostles thought He would have done, rescue them from secular occupation, before He Ascended into heaven. At Jesus’ Ascension, Jesus Promises His Apostles that they will be put over Israel as Israel’s leaders/witnesses, but not yet, and then He left. Jesus, Second Coming, to Rule the world, sets Israel free, in the sense of their captivity to world dominant secular power. Of course, Israel now means all of Jesus’ faithful followers. Scriptures tell us that when the Jews see Jesus great Power at Armageddon, they convert to Catholicism.

Somewhere in scripture, I cannot remember where, it talks of those who wish to remain in Babylon. Babylon is symbolic for Israel's captivity to secular power after their fall. Symbolic Babylon falls, in our future, in the Book of Revelation, as Jesus takes over as King and Ruler of the world.

Whether or not an individual wants Jesus to come and 'Ransom Captive Israel', God wants it! The Jews want it. I would think most Christians should want this. I want it. And apparitions and locutions from heaven, over the past couple centuries, are indicating Jesus is Coming Soon, so repent.

Armageddon will make the total nuclear destruction of all physical life on earth, look like child's play. This is because God is in ‘Hurl into hell’ mode, at Armageddon. I know that many Catholic leaders have manipulated Jesus and God the Father to be seen as pacifists; this is not the case.

Matthew 24:21
at that time there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will be.

Jesus the Divine Mercy
He who refuses to pass through the door of My mercy must pass through the door of My justice... (Divine Mercy in my soul, 1146) Today I heard a voice in my soul: Oh, if sinners knew My mercy, they would not perish in such great numbers. Tell sinful souls not to be afraid to approach Me; speak to them of My great mercy.

John 15:1
"I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower. He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and everyone that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit. You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you. Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned."

Psalms 97
The LORD is king; let the earth rejoice; let the many islands be glad. Cloud and darkness surround the Lord; justice and right are the foundation of his throne. Fire goes before him; everywhere it consumes the foes. Lightning illumines the world; the earth sees and trembles. The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim God's justice; all peoples see his glory. All who serve idols are put to shame, who glory in worthless things; all gods bow down before you. Zion hears and is glad, and the cities of Judah rejoice because of your judgments, O LORD. You, LORD, are the Most High over all the earth, exalted far above all gods. The LORD loves those who hate evil, protects the lives of the faithful, rescues them from the hand of the wicked. Light dawns for the just; gladness, for the honest of heart. Rejoice in the LORD, you just, and praise his holy name.

Psalms 110:1 A psalm of David.
The LORD says to you, my lord: 'Take your throne at my righthand, while I make your enemies your footstool.' The scepter of your sovereign might the LORD will extend from Zion. The LORD says: 'Rule over your enemies! Yours is princely power from the day of your birth. In holy splendor before the daystar, like the dew I begot you.' The LORD has sworn and will not waver: 'Like Melchizedek you are a priest forever.' At your right hand is the Lord, who crushes kings on the day of wrath, Who, robed in splendor, judges nations, crushes heads across the wide earth

Jesus The Divine Mercy
I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. On that day all the divine floodgates through which grace flow are opened. Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet. (Divine Mercy in My Soul, 699)

Revelation 7
'Do not damage the land or the sea or the trees until we put the seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.
' I heard the number of those who had been marked with the seal, one hundred and forty-four thousand marked from every tribe of the Israelites:...

...Then one of the elders spoke up and said to me, 'Who are these wearing white robes, and where did they come from'? I said to him, 'My lord, you are the one who knows.' He said to me, 'These are the ones who have survived the time of great distress; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb'.
I do see Jesus' Divine Mercy Feast Day, as another Noah's Ark. Some Catholic visionaries from the past have indicated 75% of world population perish, physically and spiritually. Receiving Christ's gift of Divine Mercy Feast Day, on the second Sunday of Easter, is receiving God's seal on your forehead, in order to survive the great distress ahead. The whole earth is going to be shaking and in disarray, but Mother Church, the Catholic Church, will sail right on through, unscathed, bearing God's seal, gifted from Jesus' Divine Mercy Feast Day. It is a far better world on the other side of Armageddon, where we live in Jesus' Kingdom Come, under Messianic Reign.

The Blessed Virgin Mary :
... you have to speak to the world about His great mercy and prepare the world for the Second Coming of Him who will come, not as a merciful Savior, but as a just Judge.

Write down these words, My daughter. Speak to the world about My mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the day of justice. (Diary - Divine Mercy in My Soul,848)

Revelation 19:6
Then I heard something like the sound of a great multitude or the sound of rushing water or mighty peals of thunder, as they said: "Alleluia! The Lord has established his reign, (our) God, the almighty. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory. For the wedding day of the Lamb has come, his bride has made herself ready. She was allowed to wear a bright, clean linen garment."

Peace brother metis.
Anything, or/and all, is forgiven. I know how emotional, emotions in any direction, talking about our Lord, can get. I myself have gotten into the habit of pacing my responses, usually a day apart. This helps to take any flare of emotion, any direction, to subside, and then let the prayerful, contemplated response, shine forth for our Lord.

Peace
Steven

Today's reading is about the Second Coming of Jesus and what His Church, the Catholic Church, will look like in post-Armageddon days to come. This is just what we were talking about in this thread.

Third Sunday of Advent
Lectionary: 7 Reading 1

Isaiah 35

The desert and the parched land will exult;

the steppe will rejoice and bloom.

They will bloom with abundant flowers,

and rejoice with joyful song.

The glory of Lebanon will be given to them,

the splendor of Carmel and Sharon;

they will see the glory of the LORD,

the splendor of our God.

Strengthen the hands that are feeble,

make firm the knees that are weak,

say to those whose hearts are frightened:

Be strong, fear not!

Here is your God,

he comes with vindication;

with divine recompense

he comes to save you.

Then will the eyes of the blind be opened,

the ears of the deaf be cleared;

then will the lame leap like a stag,

then the tongue of the mute will sing.

Those whom the LORD has ransomed will return

and enter Zion singing,

crowned with everlasting joy;

they will meet with joy and gladness,

sorrow and mourning will flee.

When you talk about the Divine Mercy, the Chaplet is a prayer for the salvation of 'all'. I believe that we do indeed have a choice when it comes to giving our hearts to God, however, we really do not know our left hand from our right, as the Lord told Jonah. As Christians, when we pray we become other 'Christs', Jesus prays in us to the Father.

I am glad you are here, keep posting, but as Metris said, there is not just one way to look upon the subject you are writing about.

peace
Mark
