Finally My fiancèe getting the help she need :)

Today is a good day for my fiancèe and for me :)
After nearly a year of paperwork and waiting, she received a mail today.
In the mail, it said that they have now found a handicap home and that the municipality we live in granting my fiancèe with this handicap apartment, that is designed for her to live a more easy life even at home when she uses wheelchair indoor :)
The rent is a bit high, but the local government have said they will help her(us) with some extra money for the rent if we can manage the other expenses that it cost to live, that should be ok :) She will also have a home nurse when she needs medical help or if she has an accident at home when I am not there.
Another thing is it will be an elevator in the apartment complex that she can use with her wheelchair, so now she will get out a lot more :)

This means that we will be moving actually in Christmas holiday or at the beginning of the new year :)

Congrats!

Btw, be careful with wheelchairs & elevators.
I once was recovering from surgery on a broken leg.
It was straight out to avoid bending the knee.
Guess what the hospital elevator doors closed on?

Hehe yeah, that elevator door sucks some times. Luckily for my fiancèe, she does not need to stick her leg out like that :) and I have become kind of good maneuver her around in small areas

I didn't have time to get good at wheelchairing.
But I was quite skilled on crutches.
One can adapt to many encumbrances, eh.

Very good news, and with a nurse on call who hopefully won't be needed but a great comfort.

Good luck with the move?

"Are you happy to see me, or is that just your leg in a cast?" (Sorry. Couldn't let it go by...)
