Well, I guess it does look kind of sad lying on the ground like that.
But apparently, the balloon was slashed and deflated before the game started.

Well, I guess it does look kind of sad lying on the ground like that.
Known as “Baby Trump,” the helium-filled caricature depicting the president wearing a diaper and holding a cellphone has appeared at protests in London, Los Angeles and Argentina.

A GoFundMe page raised nearly $8,000 in two days to get the giant balloon to Tuscaloosa ahead of Trump’s appearance at the Alabama-LSU football game.
“We need your help to bring this VIP (very important protester) to the biggest matchup college football has ever seen ...” organizers wrote. “It wouldn’t be a big Gameday in Tuscaloosa without a blimp overhead, so let’s make sure our special guest is greeted properly.”
But apparently, the balloon was slashed and deflated before the game started.
Unfortunately for the balloon, “Baby Trump” never made it to kickoff, however. Shortly before the game began, the balloon was deflated after getting slashed by an angry protester, the Montgomery-based ABC station reported.
Inside the stadium, the real Donald Trump was greeted with cheers, applause and chants of “U-S-A” after he and first lady Melania Trump were shown on the big screen.

Police identified the suspect as 32-year-old Hoyt Hutchinson of Tuscaloosa. They said officers arrested him after he sliced into the balloon and tried to flee.
Hutchinson was charged with first degree criminal mischief, a felony, and was released on $2,500 bond, according to AL.com. It was not clear if he had retained an attorney. After his release, he posted a Facebook live video, saying as he stood in front of a TV with the game playing: “Some liberals tried to come to my hometown and start some trouble. That ain’t happening. I did get arrested. I got charged. That’s all right. I’d do it again given the opportunity.”
