M'kay. A prosperity evangelical who believes that you're poor because you're faith is weak might not be the best answer to help them. I can see how this will go. "You're poor? That's your own fault! You don't have enough faith! Gimme ya money and God'll bless y'all!" Poverty solved...

I notice that nobody is using that tape of Trump 'dissing' a woman he had once attempted to have sex with as proof that he was a rapist...because in context that tape proved that while he is a world class jerk, he DOES know how to take 'no' for an answer. Thus...not a rapist. I have noticed that y'all do love to take things completely out of context. A lot. Especially if doing so can advance your points.
He's not a rapist!
He pays very well.

That is the kind of low bar I've come to expect from Republicans.

What? Me worry?
Interestingly, despite her fundamentalist background, she became a supporter of the LGBT community towards the end of her life.

I would guess that with all that make up she realized that her first stone throwing ability was highly restricted...just sayin'.

Because of what you posted.

Which was this:

Here it is (Contains offensive language, and I don't know how to do the spoiler thing!): US election: Full transcript of Donald Trump's obscene videotape

While it doesn't mention explicitly anything about Trump "taking no for answer," it does show there was one woman he didn't rape--as per his reporting.

It does say he has a habit of kissing and "grabbing" women without asking first--as per his reporting.

Especially one that had their own issues with financial matters which seem to contradict their theological babble.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Didn't Trump claim that women love it?
I'm sure I remember that from Trump's campaign.
Tom
She must love it. She's been married and divorced to two different men already and she's on her third. I'm sure she would be regarded as well handled goods.

Oh really. That's kind'a embarrassing for them. :D

I remember the prosperity church we belonged to, in the later years, several scandals happened with youth pastor having an affair, the CFO embezzling, and so on. There even was an international con artist that tried to finagle his way into the management. I don't trust them at all anymore.

You know, I used to be one myself. Was an active member of a faith, miracle healing, prosperity church for almost 10 years. bleh. Now, I can see how it really misses the point of what Jesus was saying.

The idea that they teach of Jesus having been a materially rich man who wants you to be materially rich, and getting that way by funneling large sums of money to some preacher goes directly against Jesus teachings. For example:

Matthew 6:19-21 King James Version (KJV)
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Or this when those charlatans say that Jesus was rich;

Luke 9:58 King James Version (KJV)
58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath nowhere to lay his head.

That was just a bit out of context. He did not claim that 'women' (meaning...all women) loved it, but that the specific group of women "love' it in order to get close to superstars, etc.,

And the comments I was reacting to were an assumption that because of the poster's bias, (which you, evidently, share) that her only qualifications for the job are that she's blond and pretty.

Of course she takes care of her appearance. She's on TV. Politicians do the same thing.

How do we know what her real appearance is? Make up, bleach blonde, probably fake boobs. Oy.
