Basically, it's like this....

We can go the way of saying "A character wouldn't....." then start talking real life people. We get into a discussion of anecdotes.

Or we could say "It doesn't work as a literary device to carry the character/plot", in which case I'll point to the much more convoluted Legend of Zelda timeline and series, and how successful it all is.

That is if we want a real discussion, and not just a random/meaningless one.

I'm going to delete one of my posts as it may be taken as a rant against Shadow Wolf who I think works in the mental health community, when it wasn't.

I'll see if I can sum it up better what I was saying:

-Not everyone who goes through horrible things in life chooses to start or continue martyr-ing their lives away. I certainly don't. I also don't see what's so wrong about singing pop.

I was just saying that the world isn't so black and white. I've known strong Christians turn stern atheist over the course of 1, 2, 10, 20, years, depending on who we're talking about.
That happens. But it's incredibly unlikely someone who is basically a nun of sorts and religious leader (in a world where atheism is clearly incorrect), is just not good story telling. People in general rarely make such radical changes (such as priest/pastors who became atheists but remained in there position due to this reason and that).

Hellenismos, BTW
I 'm currently playing The Division 2. Overall, it's fun but I'm not wild about some of the changes (like the safe houses and weapons recalibration system, and the NPC nerfing) and, tbh, the missions could have been an expansion in TD1. I also miss the snow & blizzards of TD1 and it's survival mode. But still a good game, especially on heroic.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Play the closed and open Beta of Ghost Recon and while the game was sort of fun it's not something I'm going to spend a lot of money on. It's chock-full of microtransactions and loot. Either I'll just rent it or wait for a price drop. Ghost Recons a dead franchise to me anyways with the best ones way back in the original Ghost Recon and Ghost Recon Island Thunder , for which I've been enjoying those games immensely retro-gaming.

It's a shame with all the technology and capability we perpetually come up with such crappy and artistically lazy pieces of corporate infused garbage literally squeezing all the artistic and storytelling blood out of the Developers and injecting monetary gain to the investors for which is really what these games today are made for.

AI: The Somnium Files.

A really really good detective game that takes twists and turns that I never saw coming.

The Outer Worlds

Reminds me a lot of early Fallouts (Dark humor, large amount of builds) and Bioshock (combat and looting system).

I played The Last of Us Remastered, and I only earned one out of a possible fifty trophies. Also, the game stated, once completed, that I had only played one percent of it. I'm thinking it's some sort of glitch?

Anywho, now I am playing the addition stand alone Left Behind.

With my ps4 hdmi port out, I decided my ps4 is also getting a harddrive upgrade with the new hdmi port and disc drive. I thought I had some decently sized spare harddrive soon hand, but 500GB is the biggest one I have.

Or I might just go without the disc drive and stick to digital copies of games and put the disc drive money with the harddrive money to get an even bigger harddrive.

Nothing right now. I was kind and gave my old rig I5-7600k and GTX 1070ti to my wife and I am upgrading to a i7-9700k and a GTX 2080ti.
