What if God lost the love for humanity?

In your

The Bible suggests he drank it and encouraged others to do so too.
Would it be possible to ask for the verses i the bible you think of when it comes to the claim that Jesus was drunk? I might know of one from the temple, but I do not know if he was drunk or only angry.

Why should God love humanity when humanity is the very definition of irony ?

People preach God and teachings yet the world still doesn't care about Gods work .

There are billions of people in the world and they are all different. Each one has individual feelings and desires and values.
Some people might be mean and cruel and we all know that many don't deserve the air they breathe, but there are so many who are good and kind and generous too. I can't give you statistics but I'm sure millions of people deserve God's love and not only that, but they deserve the love of those who are in contact with them and sometimes don't even realize how amazing they are.
There is much evil on earth, but there is also a lot of good :)

Hypothetically:
* God created the world(s), humans(s) etc(s) with "just a thought (or 2)"

The opposite of Love some say is hate/anger
Expression of hate/anger is destruction
World is still not destroyed

So, it seems that :
a) God still has His Ego "in check"
b) God indeed "Loves unconditionally"

This proves (*) that "God does not judge His own Creations"
Which would be silly, because He would judge Himself
And Being "Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent"
God being "silly" would be even silly to consider

In your opinion.

Well you are an agnostic aren’t you and of your own choice I gather. And has any God come down and whacked you for not accepting Him? You have been left alone to follow what you please haven’t you?

When I read you OP it reminded me of a George Michael song....."Praying for Time" which I think is a good description of the way humans think these days.

'Praying for time' gets to the nitty-gritty of today's religious attitudes and why God would have a problem with the prevailing attitudes of 'empty performance' verses 'heart motivated faith in action'.

The Bible says that "the love of money is the root of all evil"....and we can all see how true that is.....and nowhere is that more evident than in the rich mega-churches and televangelists whose pastors are creaming off a good portion of the donations solicited, to enrich themselves. It also shows that the lazy 'worshippers' believe that donating money absolves them of any further action.....Christianity is a living faith that motivates real practicers to actively share their faith with others and to give them a hope for the future that is guaranteed by the one whose power created all things.

True Christians exist in the world because when Jesus come to pass judgment on the world, there are "sheep and goats"......its pretty obvious who the "goats" are because Jesus says that they offer no support to his brothers.....but how do you identify the sheep"? Perhaps you first have to identify his brothers?

Don't worry. God knows those who are His own and everything is under control. God's love never fails.

Since you didn't provide any evidence to show that any religion/non-religion's version of God exists, i take it that your question is of hypothetical (if a specific version of God exists, although not sure which one and what characteristics it possess).

Definition of humanity: all of the living human inhabitants of the earth.
Definition of world: (usually the world) The earth, together with all of its countries and peoples.

(1) Are you asking that why should God love everyone when everyone (including yourself) is the very definition of irony?

(2) What do you mean by "humanity is the very definition of irony"? Do you mean that everyone is bad/immoral/evil?

(3) The world still doesn't care about God's work? The earth, together with all of its countries and peoples (including yourself) still doesn't care about God's work?

(4) What God's work?

(5) If your op is not base on a hypothetical premise "if God exists", then please prove God exists by provide convincing evidence of God's existence. Then please prove this God is responsible for the work which you said is done by him.

If this thread is only for people who believe God exists, then perhaps it should be move to Same Faith Debates?

Have you read the Bible...lately?

This perspective is featured front and center in Genesis...in each generation it takes a lifetime for God to get His chosen one squared away only to have to start again in each new generation.

Maybe it is the thrill of the chase?

if god can "lose" something then he is not a god to begin with as losing something (or loss) is not a befitting attribute of a "God", its a human thing. Good try with your brain damaged logic though.

Why should humanity love a god who neither says nor does? Lets rogues flourish and decent folk decline? Lets the world behave exactly as if the only place God existed was as a concept in individual brains, something imagined?

Bull****. You clearly do not know what God does for millions of people. And you are very good in taking what is written in the bible and use it as you shield to spread your hate.
What negative is written in the bible is to those who chose to NOT follow it but fails to see the truth of the written word.
This counts for every religion, if you can not see the truth in it and follow it, you will suffer. If you follow your ego and only do what YOU want, then yes you will suffer.

Do Buddhists believe in gods?

Do Buddhists believe in gods?
Some do, some dont :) Some Buddhists are Atheists.

Buddha did not say there are no Gods. Sakyamuni did mention Devas
But a creator God is not something Buddhist believe in.
Some (including Amanaki) see that there are countless Gods, Buddhas, Daos and so forth. But to only follow one at the time is what is important. So for theravda buddhist it is to only follow Buddha Sakyamuni`s teaching. But accepting that there are other teachers (enlightened beings) and other Buddhas and Gods (without following their teachings)
