Fully human, yet without sin?

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Either Jesus is not without sin, or He does not follow His own teachings. And provably so, assuming the stories of the Gospels are true.

How can you be considered a sinner when you're called sinless.

Sin is a disease or something?

As I understand it, within Christianity, it is said that Jesus Christ is fully human (as well as fully God)

Yet it is also said that he is perfect and without sin…

Yet it is also said that all humans are sinners

Indeed it is said we are all born in a state of sinfulness

As far as I can see, all of the above doesn’t add up, something’s not right

Unless we say he’s super-human, I suppose?

I don’t know…
It's because His Father. Everyone inherits sins from their fathers. But Jesus' Father was God Himself. So that means Jesus was like Adam was. Adam (before he sinned) had the capacity to sin but had never done it. Jesus was the same. He could be tempted but (unlike Adam) He did not give in.

This is what qualified Him to be the "Lamb that takes away the sins of the world" because every Lamb had to be without spot or blemish. So Jesus had to be without any taint. This is because death can only swallow up anyone who is guilty. When Jesus died; death made a mistake. It took an innocent soul. This had never happened before. So now death had to release what it had swallowed. And this is why the scripture claims that it was impossible for death to hold Jesus. This means that Jesus resurrected from the grave and by doing this He took power over death itself. So now He is able to save anyone who believes in Him from death. Because as the scripture says He has the keys to death and Hades.

Now all His enemies are similarly being put under His feet for our sake. So that we can have the victory over them all.

Statements with nothing to support them!

Yes.

Yes.

Except Jesus and the Virgin Mary. Jesus being God cannot sin for God is holy and perfect. And Mary in her position as Mother of God incarnate was uniquely preserved by God from sin both original and actual.

It adds up just fine. The Second Person did not cease to be God at the incarnation. God is perfectly holy and thus cannot sin.

Unless we say he’s super-human, I suppose?
More than that. Jesus is omnipotent God, lord and master of the universe.
