Shia Islaam very much exists. It is true that many Sunnis will refuse their legitimacy, but it is misleading to the point of denial to claim that they are not Muslims.

do you have 1 legitimate claim to prove they are legit Muslims? Or even Muslims at all? They oppose the Quran in practice (not words) and openly reject the teachings of the Prophet through his hadiths. Oh and just because some exists does not mean its right or legitimate.

I am not one to care whether there is such a thing as a legitimate Muslim, for what it is worth. The Qur'an is hardly worth so much reverence in the first place.

But that is quite besides the point. Shia Muslims do in fact exist, and strange as it may seem, they will not ask for your permission to consider themselves Muslims.

I have no idea of what you hope to achieve by claiming that Shias are not Muslims, but all the same I can't help but feel that it is futile to make that attempt.

I am honestly not looking to achieve anything in particular other than learning something new. Based off the facts and debates i have seen between Shias and Muslims (there is a difference), i can confidently say that they have no legitimacy, according to their own rationale and logic on which, they base their life and legitmicy on. When they 100% stick to their own practices, logic and trace that back they always reach the same conclusion, no basis or legitmicy for existence. Now of course, as we all know, people do NOT always follow the facts,logic, reasoning and rationale when wanting to believe/live as certain way. At the end of the day, i honestly, do not care but just try to avoid and often correct misinformation when i see it.

What would such a "basis or legitimacy for existence" conceivably be? And why would it be required at all?
