No it was not.
If you have cancer I am very sorry to hear this and i hope you will be cured fully. I lost both my parents from cancer so i know what kind of suffering cancer can give.
Thank you. But please reread the latter comment. I have added text about Socrates.

Now please criticise the police for electicuting serial murderers.
Where is that happening? I’m opposed to the death penalty if that’s what you’re getting at but I really don’t see the relevance to my point.

Do you not recognise the morally questionable elements of Christian scripture and doctrine and see how using it alone as a moral principle for criticising a film is therefore somewhat flawed. It is perfectly possible to criticise the Joker film on various levels (and equally possible to defend it) but that would need to be done one the basis of fact and logic, not faith and abstract religious opinion.

The source of police and state is the Creator, not Big Bang. If police fights the crime, then Creator also fights the crime through the hands of police. Have you noticed, that the situation in the world departs from Christian ideal? Yes, there was "Islamic State". The state of terrorists!!!

Islam in it self is not evil, It is those who use Islam as a tool to do evil, that means only those people who do evil deeds is evil, not Islam in itself, and there are evil people found within every religion, they are called extremists

The ISIS is not Islam. The "Islamic State" is another title of ISIS fighters.

Imagine the movie called "How I raped Mather Theresa". Is it good title? Name Joker is the name of pure evil.
I don’t think the name “Joker” is good or evil. It’s rather neutral as far as titles are concerned. The joker is the protagonist, so the title is just honest advertising. Hamlet is kind of a douche, but the play name Hamlet is neither good nor evil.
I suppose the name Macbeth is rather insidious though.

What does any of this have to do with the title of a new film you’ve not seen?

From your point of view, everything comes from the Creator, including the crime and any incorrect or corrupt actions by the police. The world isn’t “departing from Christian ideal”. Much of the world isn’t Christian and never has been and there isn’t any singular concept of “Christian ideal”, in word and certainly not in practice. All sorts of good, bad and indifferent things happen in both Christian and non-Christian contexts.

Joker has reminded the public about Joker in Batman Movies. To avoid confusion with Evil Joker the title of Good Joker should sound like "Anti-Joker."

Whenever I hear the word "Joker," I tend to think of a song by Steve Miller, where he speaks of the pompatus of love:

Although some people call him Maurice.

And then there's this Joker:

And then an old favorite:

Personally I couldn't care less. But I haven't seen it.

It is not up to others to decide what movie I can or can`t see. Why would the monks in the monastery care for what movie I watch?

It is my own morality or lack of morality that gives me a guide to what I should be watching or not watch.

It's fiction. Though I suppose it is true some have a hard time separating fiction from fact.

It's just a bunch of people with excellent lying skills creating a story for entertainment purposes. Actors get paid to lie. It's all a lie. keep that in mind and it shouldn't really affect you that much.
