Well last time I had ok cupid up 4 weeks ago I decided to let go of it I took profile down.

The last person i talked was a scam artists and this is how bad he was. I suppose he had divised a plan to make him look like an american or perhaps he was American telling the truth about himself except the fact that he was trying to scam me.

He started out by talking about game she liked and rockinroll we were both into rock music. He knew a lot about rock. He told me his exwife and he told me he was a licensed designer and licensed web designer but could not work anymore and that that didn't work out for him but he had been working at the airport barely living off his minimum wage job.

I scratched my head and dint buy into it. I think if your a licensed artist you should be able to make some money.

But I let it go and gave him a chance.
He said he could not date me now because were in different cities it might have Desoto, he said there was no bus that traveled out there from where Im at and he only drives in his own area hes too old.

This is first red sign that he had to be a scam artists. They try to get you to believe somehow there is no way yall can get together no way. Then they make you get to know each there he kept saying I want us to get to know each other real well.

Most scam artists don't want to meet you in person they want to convince you you are in Love with them long distance. Then they can keep asking for a bunch of money from you to help get them to where you are.'

So then I caught him in a stupid lie I thought surely hed give up.

So I he was saying he was dirt poor with his wife in another chat he said he and his wife who had died travelled
around the world to exotic locations.

I went hmmmm You said you guys barely had enough money to live off of you have no money how can you travel?

It ook him a day to come back with anther lie. Uh ok we saved our miles up from our credit cards and got lots of discounts c

Then I found out that the dart train actually goes from my city to his lol! He had been saying we can not get together because there's no transportation so I thought truthfully if he is not a scam but by this time I figured he was but if he was'nt he would be glad about that.

So I gave him the wonderful news and asked him if he wasn't excited. Right in his tracks he stopped chatting LMAO then the next day he started a new conversation to cover up for his last lie. UH hold up Elizabeth we cant get together for a long we need to slow it down get to know each other.

Yea right he was acting all romantic in the beginning and I blocked him took my profile down the next day. Nice that I could make fun of him and laugh but really it ticks me off I have no more time for dating apps.

I'm sorry to hear that. You could always report him to the dating app - though if you do, be courteous in the report and don't expect guaranteed results from it (necessarily).

Hi....... :)
I was sad to read your OP..... I guess that the whole World is full of scammers and bullshots.

I have never been to a dating website but I read and hear all kinds of stories about scams, bad dates and also wonderful romances.

It's a lottery, but that's not so bad. I hope you continue on with chat and dating web-sites because I reckon that it could be great fun as well as possibly leading to strong friendships and love.

You never know......... :)

There have been more scams by married men wanting to take advantage of me men looking just for sex though. But I hate scam artists it is an insult to me. All I can do is try to avoid them by saying on my profile please don't contact me if your not ready to start dating me within a month of contacting me.

Some men are actually nice wanting to carry on a texting friendship for awhile in the beginning. There's just no way for to do that on dating apps. The truth is I know the scam artists its easy to pick upon them; But lets just say i may have been wrong about one or 2 maybe they were telling the truth.

I was still right to kick their but. I was on a dating app to date: A dating app is there to meet people and go on dates that's why its called a dating app.

I am not interested in having a long term long distance friendship through texting. If I were I would join a pen pal app. There's some pen pal apps.I joined dating apps to date period and I was not interested in anyone wasn't ready to date.

I do consider Zoosk better than Plenty of Fish. The only problem is, the price of Zoosk can be a little crazy.

And let's see if there's any others I'm forgetting... Match dot com is pretty much Plenty of Fish all over again, but charging money for it. So no there. OkCupid can get a little bizarre.

Ok cupid is teaming with scams hav'nt figured out how to use POF without paying. I think I'm gonna leave it alone for all the trouble i've had but maybe others want to use it.
