If it could be proved no god exists

I wonder what would be the reaction of theists if evidence was discovered which proved beyond any shadow of doubt that no god has ever existed, and all faiths are created by humans?

Is this like a fantasy of yours or something?

I think it would be a good thing if it was proved beyond all shadow of doubt no god exists, religion has done much more harm than good over the centuries, imo.
I think it would be a good thing if it was proved beyond all shadow of doubt that certain religions such as Trinitarian Christianity are completely false. Then maybe we could find out what God really wants.

I think that is rather sad reflection on human nature, but that is the way most people are and that is one reason religion is necessary. Most people need the fear of God to keep them in line because most people are materialistic and selfish, so *what they want* is not what God wants for them.

Studies show that the most moral people are atheists and the highly religious, but since most religious people are not highly religious, you can do the math.
No, that is why morality without religion is necessary. That humanity can still act morally whether religion is there or not. To be moral even when someone no longer have religion and/or faith is a lot better. That also goes for the fearing of god. Religions and gods come into conflict with morality the moment someone believes what religion and/or god demands of them. It's also one major excuse people use when being immoral or when their "wants" are more important. When someone know that something about their religion or it's teachings are immoral, they will look for any excuse to try and justify it.

Knowing why something is moral or immoral is far better than simply doing what one was told. This is the difference between being moral, amoral and immoral when various situations come up. Whether choose to lie and save a life, or tell the truth and let a life be taken, or neither resulting in more than one life being taken.

Re biochemistry.

The term "biochemistry" was ridiculed by many people.
By whom?

As for confused about "which came when"
1 - life is now thought to have formed on the land
2 - life did emerge from the seas too, including birds
3 - man is the last to form.

Do you have another order?

One and two cannot both be correct.
Birds did not emerge from the seas.

Science has not reached a definitive conclusion on the processes or the locations that went from molecules to cells.

Quote - "Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly
above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.”

This is a common mis-translation. The real translation in the King James and the Hebrew is this:
"and God commanded the seas to bring forth life."
Not "let the seas abound in life."
That's terribly sloppy and designed to "help" the bible "make sense" of the original statement.

This is what confused generations of Jews and Christians - how could the seas create life?

I notice that, once again, you did not address my comments.
I notice that you still have not supported your assertion that generations of Jews and Christians were confused.

All you are doing is trying to puff up your own views while trying to detract from your strawman comments.

The "heavens" in the Jewish tradition simply means COSMOLOGY.
ie everything out there.

Earlier you said: "... the heavens (meaning everything we see, feel, hear etc..)"

You keep changing your own definitions. Are you that confused or is that just your way of trying to obfuscate?

The heavens created the world - the cosmos created the planet
Using your definitions: The heavens everything we see, feel, hear etc. created the world.

Really?!? An Elton John song created the world? The alligator I see in my back yard created the world? The sting from the mosquito bite created the world?

I have no argument. I was just responding to your question:
"Are you referring to the fact that, since gods cannot be proven, they are negatives?"

But what do you think that the article is saying that does not support the argument *you think I have?*
Your argument was that one cannot prove a negative. Have you already forgotten that you posted that assertion?

Why did you link to the article? Why did you quote from the article?

I did not think you would want to come but I thought to ask anyway.
Unfortunately I cannot get him to come here either so I will just pass along what you said. :D
OK. Feel free to quote me and/or change the word "excrement" to any word of your choosing.

You might want to mention that I am not one of those atheists who just don't believe god(s) exist. I am one of those atheists who assert that all gods are nothing more than the creation of man's imaginings.

It will never be proven to the satisfaction of theists. Flat-earthers disavow and reject any and all evidence of a spherical earth.

However, there is ample evidence to support the contention that "no god has ever existed, and all faiths are created by humans".

What? Haven't you looked at the video? Don't you understand the video enough to comment on it in your own words? Second grader's who cannot write, draw pictures. Is this your version of that?

So brutal. Like always.

Loving God and my neighbor as myself.
That's what you presume.

And I generally don't give advice, or encourage anything.[religiously. If i did, what I would write, would be totally different.
You quoted John 3:16, which is evangelization.

Theoretically, you could be wrong. It could be that if someone believes in Jesus that it won't bring them eternal life. And so yes, you would be handing out false information, which is what you were warning people about.

Think about it.
