I'm pleased to announce that I've received an award for going the whole month
without being banned even once. Knowing my incredibly magnanimous desire
for avoiding fanfare and the consequent embarrassing adulation, staff have kept
this secret from you....even from me....& even from themselves.

So, fellow posters...what awards have you won?
Or what would you like to win?

See if you can find a picture that would represent
how I'd look as Ms RF. That would be helpful in my,
and everyone else's decisions.

The uncropped version of this photo does actually say "MISS RELIGIOUSFORUMS.COM"
Alas, all I could find was the cropped version.

My reward is to spend a few minutes finding relevant analogies for this picture.

Look how unfair that is. You're an astronaut. You're like a brain surgeon who is also a jet pilot and also an engineer, and your life's work brings you to the edge of space higher than most other people ever get to go....and you get eaten by a shark.

Yes, & you've won it repeatedly.
(No one is notified of winning....it's the nature of the award, eh.)
Now give others a chance!
Now that spoils everything. Not sure if I have the energy to swing the sledge hammer like I used to. But at least I think the old well on the farm is still there.

How does the shark survive in space?

And why eat the astronaut whole? What's the point of having a nice set of Jaws when the shark isn't even going to use them?

That's from one of the Sharknado movies, isn't it?
