I started when I was young and every time I tried to make a song it would come out dark, creepy messed up. I was doing for my own selfish reasons trying to make money or the new best song. I did finally did what I wanted it to do for years turn out happy and good. Came to me right away that I suppose to worship God with it not use for my own selfish reasons. I don't regret all these years I could have done alot because in this lesson proved more that jesus truly my lord and savior and debunks all thoughts that my beliefs are wrong. I choose to serve him for the rest of my days because i do truly love him.......... ***mod edit***

Oh. I see. So if I worship a different God, He'd be jealous of them? You do know that being jealous means you view the other person (or in this case a God) as superiour to you? That's essentially what jealousy means. So he thinks other Gods are better than him?

If you gave someone the greatest gift ever and you thanked someone else wouldn't you be little bit jealous I guess

So if a man or woman is jealous because their wife/husband is cheating on them then they think that the other person is better than them? That is not what it means to be jealous in the context of a marriage. All the scriptures saying God is a jealous God is in that context of marriage or that analogy if you will.

God is not worried about those other gods a bit.

Maybe I'm thinking more of envy, as in how a poor person might envy the rich, or how a unintelligent person might envy a smart person.

All I know is that the only way to know god is through scripture and that was my own uneducated guess what it could possibly mean. I apologize. God is perfect he made everything :)

If the only way to know God is through scripture how did those who didn’t have scripture know God?

A common misconception. :) It was really because God made a covenant (like a marriage covenant) with Israel that they would worship only Him. And so when they worshiped other gods it was like spiritual adultery to God.
