It could, but if you're going to go that route just stick with the real patties. Unless you've somehow found some passable vegan bacon.Bacon could fix that.

It's pretty close, from what I remember, to what a Whopper tastes like. I liked it.
Though part of my thinking in being a vegetarian was to avoid the fast food places as unhealthy food. I don't if this trend in fast food places offering meatless alternatives actually makes fast food any healthier.
Fast food drive thru makes feeding your face easy. Hard to escape consumerism with how easy they are making it to consume.
I'll give it a try if the opportunity ever arises...perhaps on the OH Turnpike.
Does it have any of that special sauce stuff on it? I'd have'm hold it.
Mayo on a burger violates me religion. The Whopper has never come with "special sauce stuff." The "sauce" has always been ketchup and mayonnaise.
It's been years since I've been able to tolerate anything on the BK menu. I'm betting there is no significant difference in texture, flavor, etc., so I'll pass...
We already have the Rebel Whopper. I’ve been seeing ads for it for like two weeks lol
Actually the Hungry Jacks near me (I assume since they’re a chain, this is standardised) have had a full vegan range on offer for a year or so at least.

Ketchup is good, but I skip it in preference to a slice'o raw tomater & onion.
I remember that commercial.Burger King has always advertised, "Have it your way" or "Your way right away."
"Hold the pickle hold the lettuce special orders don't upset us..."
Yes I assumed as much. Since our menus are literally the same.Hungry Jack's and Burger King are the same company. BKC (RBI) couldn't get the rights to the name down under as it was already trademarked by a restaurant in Adelaide.
difference of the vege-based impossible burger versus the meat-based whopperDifference from what?

thus ensuring that I won't be trying one...Then your guess is pretty accurate. Several have conducted blind taste test and in most, the Impossible Whopper was passed off as the real Whopper.
If you're looking for taste that's something different than the Whopper, you'll likely be disappointed. The goal here was to eradicate any taste difference.
