Plus Comey's late minute announcement of reopening the investigation on Hillary might have even done it on its own. When I heard him say that, I told our oldest daughter the Trump was likely going to win because too many people that I knew weren't enamored with Hillary nor Trump, so this was an excuse for some to vote for the latter..Most polls right before the election didn't have Hillary winning in a landslide. Most polls were within margin of error.
RW media lies about this.

I think it's surprising to Trump. With growing support to impeach, politicians won't be so fearful to go against him. And Donny will be seeing the headlights coming down the road straight towards him. Then, he does something really reckless, as any dictator about to lose power with a scorched-earth mentality, a "I'm bringing the country down with me!," maneuver, and hopefully is removed from office in handcuffs. The majority of U.S. voters didn't vote for Trump in the first place. So it's hardly surprising that they don't want him, now.
The point is that it's looking so bad for Trump that even Fox is forced to face reality.Sooo....now you sing Fox's praises...

I was thinking the other day, maybe polls are dangerous for a proper democracy? Bunches of people do act in a "mob" mentality (nod to Audie), and the polls itself is making people make up their minds, instead of the facts or news. It drives the masses emotionally in one direction or other, so maybe polls are tools in the hands of the crafters rather than indicators of the will of the masses?
I prefer a 'murder of crows'.
She did win. The polls can't predict what the electoral college will do, they can only predict what the voters will do. And the voters did what most of the polls predicted they would do. But the electoral college ignored the popular vote, and appointed Trump, anyway.Apparently so, but most polls said she would win,
did they not?
Sorry, but as much as I dislike Trump he did win. We do not have a popular vote for the President. She did win. Is it a Tangle of octopods? How about a "clowder of cats"? Or a "parliament of owls"?
The EC did not '"ignore the popular" vote. The delegates from the states that Trump won (emphasize "WON") voted with the popular vote of their states. This system has been in effect for well over 200 hundred years...you had plenty of time to voice your opposition before now.
Exactly. Just consider the "don't throw your vote away" argument. If in an election there are multiple choices, beyond two, there's always this "don't vote for any of the minority ones, because they won't win anyway, vote for the candidate I believe in instead." Which basically is, "go with the flow, follow the crowd, don't think yourself, and don't vote for what you believe in." The polls can kind'a work that way too.Polls might serve a useful purpose for some, but they can sometimes be misleading and could unduly influence the electorate. For one thing, it could keep people home on election day, if they already believe their candidate is going to win.
Or there might be some kind of bandwagon effect, where the undecideds might go with whoever they think has the majority support. When in doubt, just go with the flow, I guess.
Oh now you know how creationists and
"philosophers" are. They just say things.
Facts not in evidence are their bricks n mortar.
You gonna leave them homeless?
The depth of your statement is only exceeded by the breadth of your wisdom...
This is our country:
Whistleblower Edward Snowden exposes the NSA spying on the American people, and he is now forced to live in exile in Russia. NSA continues spying.
Whistleblower Chelse Manning exposes war crimes of our miliatry, ends up in prison. War crimes continue.
Julian Assange publishes whistleblowers stories, ends up in prison.
All three are labeled traitors.
A whistleblower comes forward saying Trump is corrupt...well now that's just crossing the line! And this whistleblower is a hero!
