Take Notice in Matthew 24:15--"When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso, readeth, let him understand."

Notice the Abomination of desolation stands in the holy place"
Not Temple, but holy place"
The holy place is any where on the Tempel grounds. Not inside of the Tempel, but in holy place which is the Temple.

Read Matthew 24:15 again the verse said nothing about the temple, but "holy place"

Which is the temple grounds. The holy place can also be considered as Jerusalem. Which is holy grounds,
holy place.

The Abomination of Desolation in the first century has been explained twice in detail. Uncircumcised pagans with their idols and military standards defiled the holy place.

When you go to one world government, you have gone off the rails.. layering Hal Lindsey on top of the Scofield heresy. I saw it split two churches in our town in the early 1980s.. One Baptist, the other Methodist.

There no hope of turning it around... the intended result is to create ardent Christian Zionists who believe the return of the Jews to Israel is essential to their salvation ,

That's like I said so many times, that's all man's teachings and not the teachings of Christ Jesus.
You seem to think for whatever reason that man's teachings should over ride the teachings of Christ Jesus.

Wrong the teachings of Christ Jesus stands over and above all of man's teachings.

Obviously they have been changed by man's teachings since Scofield.. Protestantism has been forever changed.

Scofield is a false teaching. And your right that Scofield has for ever changed Protestantism.
That's exactly why I only follow the teachings of Christ Jesus.

Over the years I came to the conclusion that man's teachings takes away to make void the teachings of Christ Jesus.

The Scofield Bible teaches the rapture theory. How Jesus Christ will come before the tribulation starts to rapture people out.

But this contradicts the teachings of Jesus Christ in his book of Revelation.

As Jesus Christ himself given the last Prophecy that is to happen. That Jesus Christ can not return until the last Prophecy happens first.
That when this last prophecy happens that Jesus Christ given the tribulation is over, So what good is the rapture going to do, seeing Jesus Christ can not return until the last Prophecy happens first and the tribulation is over at this point.

You are tying the tribulation to the second coming.

Tribulation is the second coming make no doubt about it.
That's why Jesus Christ said he will shorten the days of the tribulation.
And Jesus Christ did just that in his book of Revelation, shorten the days of the tribulation to 5 months.

The thrust of the Roman siege last 4.5 months ending during the grape harvest (August) of 70 AD. No Christians died. Read Josephus. The history confirms the symbolism of the scripture.

I guess that you have a hard time in reading.
As I said, I do not follow or go by man's teachings.
As I only go by Jesus Christ teachings.

As Jesus Christ said in Luke 6:46-47
46--"And why call you me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like"

Therefore I only follow Jesus Christ teachings.
But seeing your so stuck on man's teachings, go for it. But guess what your being deceived by man's teachings.

So you haven't studied any 1st century history? Really?

Not according to man's teachings I haven't.
So why would I want to follow man's teachings,
when I have Jesus Christ teachings in and about all things.
Even Jesus Christ said --" But take you heed: behold, I have foretold you all things"

Well it's quite obvious Jesus Christ has already foretold all things throughout his word.
The bible/scriptures.

There's a communication problem here. Antiochus was the Abomination of Desolation that Daniel refers to in 168 BC.

Then Matthew says Jesus reminds them it will happen again and when they see it happening, flee to the mountains.

The second Abomination is Vespasian, Titus, the Roman soldiers and the foreign armies that fought with them.

The Gentiles TROD upon the place and desecrated it because of their idols, uncircumcision and battle standards.

It already happened … The terrible famine, death, suicides, cannibalism was the tribulation..

Christians didn't die because they fled to Pella.

The Temple was destroyed.. the world as they knew it ended.. Rabbinic Judaism began.

The Temple was destroyed in70 A.D. Thus no image was set up to be worshiped in it, to be called the abomination of desolation. If anything was done later it was without a temple. And, Christ was clear that the abomination of desolation would precede the destruction of Jerusalem, giving warning to the Jews to flee.

No abomination of desolation in 70 A.D. Thus it is yet future. Thus Jerusalem is still trodden down by the Gentiles.

No such abomination of desolation was set up. And Antiochus Epiphanes did set up his image in the Temple. Thus it is only to be expected that the next abomination of desolation would also be in the Temple. Which it will. (2 Thess 2:4)

But who are the Gentiles that's trodden down Jerusalem under foot.
What religion is in control over Jerusalem at this very moment?
Find out what religion that is. Then you have who the Gentiles are,
that's trodden down Jerusalem.

The Abomination of desolation stand in the holy place, Notice ( stand in the holy place)
Makes no mentioning of standing in the temple. The holy place can be Jerusalem, the grounds that surrounds the temple.
But nothing about standing in the temple.

Jerusalem has always been known as the
holy place or holy grounds.

Well, we come back to where we started. I already showed how the Gentiles still were over Jerusalem. Through the Palestinians and the U.N., and Islam. Go back and reread.

I just showed you that the abomination of desolation was begun in the Temple by Antiochus Epiphanes. And it will once again be in the Temple in the future. (2 Thess 2:4)

Then everything that your implying contradicts Jesus Christ.

As there's no where in what Jesus Christ said in Matthew 24:15 anything about stands in the temple as your trying to imply.
Jesus Christ very much said
(Stand in the holy place)
The holy place is Jerusalem it's self.

Jerusalem has always been known as the holy place, holy grounds.

When the Abomination of desolation stand in the holy place, which is Mount of Olives.
The very same place which Jesus Christ ascended back into heaven.
Acts 1:9-10
9--"And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel"
