Wrong everything in Matthew 24 most certainly does pertains to the book of Revelation chapter 6.
As does Mark 13 and Luke 21. All pertains to Revelation chapter 6.
Now can you line it all up.

I don't agree with you as I just said. So, why do you want me to line it up? You can line it up if you like. I doubt you will change what I have said.

And you still ignore my question in (145).

The first Abomination of Desolation was under Antiochus IV Epiphanes.

The cruel and violent persecutions of Antiochus Epiphanes are recorded in histories annals for all to observe. In the spring of 168 B.C., the armies of the Syrian king had arrived within four miles of the great city of Alexandria to compel the pharaohs to surrender.

But the Egyptians had appealed to Rome for assistance. A Roman fleet was anchored in the bay and their representative Popilius Laenas, soon met with the king. After drawing a circle with his staff around the Syrian king, and forcing him to give an immediate response, the king reluctantly accepted the ultimatum to depart.

After being humiliated and forced to leave Egypt, Antiochus’s vengeance was quickly turned upon Jerusalem.

He killed over eighty thousand men, women, and children and sold forty thousand into slavery (2 Macc. v. 5-14).

The holy place was robbed of its treasures and the temple was dedicated to Jupiter Olympus.

The temple was defiled by offering a sow upon the altar and scattering its juice over all the sanctuary and vessels.

He substituted the Jewish feasts with the drunken revelry of Bacchanalia, forcing the Jews to worship Bacchus, the god of pleasure and wine. The licentious festival of Saturnalia, the worship of Saturn, was also enforced upon the inhabitants.

He forbade the reading of the Holy Scriptures and the tradition of circumcision. Throwing them headlong with their infants off of the highest wall in Jerusalem, Antiochus killed two mothers who had circumcised their children in defiance of the law.

He also cut out the tongues of a mother’s seven sons and after that had each of them roasted alive on a flat iron (2 Macc. vii. 3-5).

Then the mother herself was murdered. John Walvoord notes that “a detailed description of the violent atrocities and murder of thousands of Jews by Antiochus while marching through Judea is found in 1 Maccabees 1:20-28 and 2 Maccabees 5:11-17.”

My question was to another, but since you want to participate,....you answered nothing. Nice speech though.

When was the abomination of desolation set up in the Temple prior to 70 A.D. ?

Antiochus “magnified himself even to the prince of the host” (Dan. 8:11).

His pride and arrogance was lifted up in opposition to the very God of heaven. His blasphemy will typify that of the future Man of Sin: “And, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things” (Dan. 7:8).

The Apostle John witnessed the approaching Beast rising from the sea “and upon his heads the name of blasphemy” (Rev. 13:1).

Again the Apostle John echoes his future irreverence: “And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven” (Rev. 13:6).

You're not following. Yes, Antiochus set up the abomination of desolation before the time of Christ. But Christ is addressing a future abomination of desolation. When did that occur prior to 70 A.D.?

Read it again.. Jesus is telling them to remember the past and when they again see the Abomination of Desolation to flee to the hills. They did. They fled to Pella to avoid the tribulation.

Vespasion and the Roman legions and other foreign fighters under his command surrounded Jerusalem and destroyed the Temple in AD 70, about forty-two months after the invasion began.

The Roman army desolated the people and the city.

The Jews granaries and storehouses of food were destroyed, and supply lines into the city were cut off.

Under pressure of the famine many Jews went out at night into the valleys in search of food. Hundred of Jews were caught every day, tortured and crucified in sight of those on the walls of the city.

The Roman armies were an abomination and desolating ones to the Jews because they were Heathen men who were uncircumcised, but also because of the images of their gods, which were upon their ensigns: for images and idols were always an abomination to the Jews.

Now our Lord observes, that when they should see the Roman armies encompassing Jerusalem, with their ensigns flying, and these abominations on them, they should conclude its desolation was at hand.

Titus sought to preserve the temple, but the Romans soldiers were so enraged at the Jews, that they pushed all of the stones of the temple down, fulfilling Jesus words.

Abundant documentation reveals that before the destruction of Jerusalem, all the Christians inside the city were able to flee to the mountains and found refuge. Not one Christian perished in the siege, because they saw the sign that Jesus revealed to them.

The prophecy in Luke says "armies," not "army," so some say this did not happen when the Roman army (singular), destroyed Rome.

If you read the historical accounts, you will see that Jerusalem was destroyed by "armies" (plural).

Syria sent over 25,000 soldiers, Arabia sent 6,000 soldiers, all of which were under the command of Rome. It was a multi-national coalition of armies and Rome was in control.

Scofield has screwed up 2 generations of Protestants.

Jesus warned in view of what (Daniel) prophesied. (Matt. 24:15) So, what is the 'abomination of desolation' that Daniel prophesied?

You confuse (Matt. 24:16) with (Luke 21:21). (Matt. 24:16) speaks to the Tribulation. (Luke 20-21) speaks to 70 A.D.

To answer your question in post #145

Well first of all if you take Matthew 24:15
"When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

This lines up with Revelation 6:12-13. Satan and his angels are cast out of heaven to the earth Revelation 6:12-13.
Revelation 12:7-12.

Note the stars fall from heaven. stars represents angels Revelation 1:20.

The Abomination of desolation is when Satan enters the temple of God. Proclaiming that he is God. To deceive by deception the whole world into believing that he is God.

This also lines up to 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
3--"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4--"Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God"

This being when Satan and his angels are cast into the earth and Satan enters the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
Matthew 24:15
Revelation 6:12-13
Revelation 12:7-12
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4.

That's all bc, with all due respect, The last prophecy that is to happen that brings about the coming of Christ Jesus, and also brings the end to the tribulation is all found in Revelation 11.
And no other place in the book of Revelation.
That the best you can do - ignore scripture, and repeat yourself without any scriptural support.
All you accomplish here is an "I don't care what anyone says, or what scriptures I can't show to be for my view. I'll say whatever I like... anyway" attitude.
It's not a good way to debate imv, but if it's the only way you know how... Enjoy your debate. Sayonara.

Are you not paying attention, the last Prophecy that Jesus Christ given in his book of Revelation.
Jesus Christ can not return until the last Prophecy happens first.
That when this last prophecy happens the tribulation is over and then Christ Jesus returns and not until the last Prophecy happens first.
As I have the last Prophecy that Jesus Christ given in the
book of Revelation chapter 11:1-19.

The destruction of the Temple is not the abomination of desolation being set up.

(Matt. 24:15) "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso, readeth, let him understand."

(Dan. 11:31) "...and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate."

(Dan. 12:11) "And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days."

(Rev. 13:14-15) "....saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."

In other words, with the 70 A.D. destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, you did not have any abomination of desolation set up. This is what Christ said will be set up (Matt. 24:15) This is why those who fled Jerusalem in 70 A.D. did so, because of the armies or army that surrounded Jerusalem. Just like Christ said in (Luke 21:20). "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh." Not because of any abomination of desolation being set up.

(Luke 21:20-21) addresses the future destruction of 70 A.D., and a much further future destruction under the anti-christ. In both Jerusalem will be surrounded with army or armies. But only in one will there the abomination of desolation be set up.

The abomination of desolation will be an image made, just like (Daniel) described. See post #(174)

The point was that no image, no abomination of desolation existed during the 70 A.D. destruction. Which is important because (Luke 21:20-21) is emphasizing that destruction. Which goes back to my original point that Christ in (Matt. 24:1-2) is talking about 70 A.D.

This caused the disciples to ask, "when shall these things be?" (Matt. 24:3) This is answered in (Luke 21:20-21).

There's a communication problem here. Antiochus was the Abomination of Desolation that Daniel refers to in 168 BC.

Then Matthew says Jesus reminds them it will happen again and when they see it happening, flee to the mountains.

The second Abomination is Vespasian, Titus, the Roman soldiers and the foreign armies that fought with them.

The Gentiles TROD upon the place and desecrated it because of their idols, uncircumcision and battle standards.

It already happened … The terrible famine, death, suicides, cannibalism was the tribulation..

Christians didn't die because they fled to Pella.

The Temple was destroyed.. the world as they knew it ended.. Rabbinic Judaism began.

Matthew 24:15---"When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand"
Notice here "the Abomination of desolation stand in the holy place"
At this time after Satan and his angels are cast into the Earth, Revelation 12:7-12.
Then Satan stands in the holy place to proclaim that he is God.
The Abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel the Prophet is found in Daniel 9:27
Daniel 9:27--" And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate"
Note "and he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week, and in the middle of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease"

Note this is not the real Jesus Christ, But the AntiChrist that will cause the Lord's Supper to cease, "Why" because many people will believe that the AntiChrist is the real Christ Jesus,
So there won't be any need to do the Lords supper any more, Seeing what many people believe to be the real Jesus Christ.
But he is the false Christ. The AntiChrist.
Daniel 12:11--"And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days"
Note here, "from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up"
The daily sacrifice, is the Lord's Supper. And when people does away with the Lord's Supper, Because people will believe the AntiChrist is the real Christ, there won't be any need to do the Lords supper.
And the abomination that makes desolate set up. Many people will believe ( Satan) the AntiChrist is the real Christ, will set up to worship ( Satan) the AntiChrist in the place of the real Jesus Christ.
From this time to the coming of the real Jesus Christ, will be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Then the real Jesus Christ shows up to catch people worshipping the AntiChrist
( Satan) in his place.
AntiChrist means -- to stand in the place of Christ Jesus.
Therefore the AntiChrist ( Satan) thinks to stand in the place of the real Jesus Christ.
As for Revelation 13. This is all about the
"One World Order" The "New World Order Government system"
In verse 4 you will find --"And they worshipped the beast ( This being the "One World Order"
The New World Order Government system.
That will control all the Military of the world.
In verse 4 you'll find --"Who is like unto the beast, Who is able to make war with him"
No one is able to make war with him, All because the "One World Order, the New World Order Government system control's all the Military of all Nations of the world, So who's able to make war with him, No body,
Because the One World Order controls all the Military of the World, that's why no one is able to make war with him.
And who exactly will be the leader of this
"One World Order Government system.
The AntiChrist ( Satan) will be the One World Order Government system's leader.
That will have all authority control over all the Military of the World. Therefore no one is able to make war against him.

Take Notice in Matthew 24:15--"When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso, readeth, let him understand."

Notice the Abomination of desolation stands in the holy place"
Not Temple, but holy place"
The holy place is any where on the Tempel grounds. Not inside of the Tempel, but in holy place which is the Temple.

Read Matthew 24:15 again the verse said nothing about the temple, but "holy place"

Which is the temple grounds. The holy place can also be considered as Jerusalem. Which is holy grounds,
holy place.

Nope not at all. You listen to much to man's teachings.
The Abomination of desolation is when the AntiChrist ( Satan) stands in the holy place.
Which is the holy city Jerusalem.
Proclaiming to be God himself.

You really need to calm down and not go about yelling.
As you put your words in Red and in all capital letters which reveals your anger.
