oops gnomon just made me change my answer. We achieved iconoclasm. That was an unapproved heresy in Orthodox Byzantium. Reformed Iconoclasm destroyed the Icons obviously of the Catholics. We're iconoclasts.

Being able to unite people from all sorts of origins and backgrounds in a peaceful and harmonious way, despite the many cultural differences.
I love that, because it proves that coming from different parts of the world, with different languages, habits, skin color, wealth levels, etc, doesn't mean we have to fight or hate each other. It is possible to be loving and caring towards others regardless of all that.

I believe it has removed sin from my life because I have Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

OK. The question you asked is if I love God. That got me thinking. According to The Bible love is "patient and kind". Can God try my patience? No, I think not! Can I be kind to God? OMG! How?

I can be what 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 says about what love is to people and to myself but I think to be those ways to God Almighty is just plain silly, imo. I believe God is the origin of every good thing so to be 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 toward God is the same as to be God to God. Isn't it? LOL

So, when somebody wrote that love should be toward God what did it mean?

I know what 1 Corinthians 4-7 means but what does love toward God mean? I think I do*, but how would I know?

In paganism there aren't fake Gods. Also, in paganism we follow dharma/karma lifestyle.

The UU church has United people from all kinds of religions from different languages and the non religious Athirst and Agnostics as well in one group:
Plus also United our group with folks from different sexual orientations GLBTQ and different lifestylefls such as the Polyamory and BDSM lifestyle.
We all United in one group.

The UU church also have fought for the rights of the mentally ill and GLBTQ rights as well.I know there have been laws put in the place for the mentally ill in one if our states if not all states by one specific UU lady who went to battle with that.
