Impeachment

We have learned that a whistleblower had made a complaint against President Trump that involved a call with a foreign leader. But although House Democrats continued to ask to see the complaint, the White House wouldn’t release a copy of it. The trump administration finally did provide a transcript of the phone call Trump had on July 25 with Ukraines president which only raised more questions and caused Nancy Pelosi to announce that the House would launch an impeachment inquiry into Trump’s presidency. Is this the end for trump?

No, its not the end. My prediction is that the democrats are so dam terrible that this constant witch hunt is only gonna serve to get trump re elected.

Impeachment means nothing without a removal from office, which requires 2/3 of the senate to vote for removal. That is very unlikely to happen, It is the end of Biden though.

No. This is the end of America - a lawless nation that doesn't care if its president is a criminal. I guess that I don't either, any more.
I think that would be a tragedy. No matter how little we might each think we are, we must still stand for what we know is right. Don't stop caring. Care. Stand up. Speak. Say your piece. Even if it's only here...

Trumps crime is being trump?

Um......that dont make any sense.

Seriously, whats his crime?
Asking the leader of a foreign government to interfere in an American election. And for anybody who can understand "thug speech," knowing that it was much less of a "request" than a threat.

I'm confused by the whole impeachment thing, to be honest. If memory serves, being impeached does not necessarily remove a person from office, is that correct? then what is the purpose? Grandstanding? I just don't get it.
It's like a jury finding someone guilty, and then saying, "okay, now you can just go on about your business".

The idea that impeachment is beneficial is laughable. It crippled Gore’s campaign because he couldn’t use a Clinton endorsement. Nixon resigned because of it. Johnson escaped by 1 vote and didn’t run for re-election.

Think how absurd and desperate this is: Trump is falsely attacking Joe Biden with a made up story that Biden tried to get a foreign prosecutor fired to protect Biden’s son, when Trump HIMSELF ACTUALLY fired the U.S. FBI Director AND the U.S Attorney General to protect HIMSELF

No matter how little we might each think we are, we must still stand for what we know is right.

I haven't stopped doing that. I just don't stand for America any more. As you undoubtedly know, America has changed dramatically between the mid-20th century, when most of us here were born, to now. I loved that early America, and was proud of it. Its principles became mine.

This America is repulsive and no longer represents my values. This is me standing up for what I consider right.

Don't stop caring. Care. Stand up. Speak. Say your piece. Even if it's only here...

Thanks for your encouragement, but I think that I already do that. I have just stopped hoping that America won't continue to swirl the drain. I expect that. My attention, concern, and resources have been redirected elsewhere.

What was trumps crime?

With all due respect, it's long past the time to discuss whether Trump is a criminal or not. If you don't think so yet, you never will. The evidence is available to those willing to consider it impartially. I'm at the point where I am convinced that Trump is a criminal and that America doesn't have the moral backbone to care. I consider it a lawless country, one whose laws nobody has any more reason to respect than its elected officials do. If they subpoena you, just say no.

If you don’t understand the impeachment process here’s a good read How impeachment would work

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

Well the impeachment papers have to be drawn first.

I would say it's time for the socialist Democrats to put their money where their mouth is and actually do it.

In my opinion it's not the end for Trump because there's no real charges yet and even if there was, he would probably finish out his term normally like Bill Clinton did, no worse for wear.

I think this whole thing is going to show the nation and even the world just who the Socialist Democrats are.

Just bunch of impatient and vindictive lecherous traitors trying to unseat a sitting legally elected president by instigating yet another attempted coup to re-secure power in government for themselves.
