Exterminating god

Katzpur

Not your average Mormon
What is good about the Biblical god? Even Hitler who was badness, wasn't as wicked, imo. Having had my childhood spoilt by having the idea of god being forced upon me, I have a right to have my say.
Your childhood wasn't spoiled by God but by what certain people taught you about Him. Why not just focusing on exterminating your misunderstanding of Him?

So if God exists only because people are not thinking, then hat means that God will always exist.... and when all the thinking people are dead, God will still exist. :D

Wait a minute.... are you putting ideas in JJ50's head?
It won't work. It's impossible to get rid of all the people who are not thinking, because thinking like that, would be creating people who are not thinking. :D

Correct. And that is why God claims immortality.

Well, I am sure that it is difficult to exterminate Him if He wears one of those magical underwear. :)

Seriously.....

1 Timothy 1:17 Expanded Bible (EXB)
To the ·King who rules forever [eternal King; L King of the ages], ·who will never die [immortal; incorruptible], ·who cannot be seen [invisible], the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

How can you exterminate someone who is immortal, who will never die?
How can you exterminate someone who cannot be seen?

Deal done,,
You did it then? You dared Him (God) to exterminate me? Good... I guess we'll see how much longer I can post to this... err... ack... GAH! *choke* *choke* *scuffle* *rrrrreeeeach... and...* *DIE*

Haha... just kidding. Still here! Now here's the part where you tell me that my ultimate death at some indeterminate point in the future (likely after I have lived to an average human life-span) is God's "extermination" of me. Or when you tell me that when I die, THAT'S when God is going to do the "Exterminating," by making sure my "soul" ends up in Hell. Neither of which am I going to accept as the "deed" actually having been done, obviously. But, of course... you knew that, I would imagine.

Keep dreaming the dream, pal. One day God might actually show up and tell you what a good boy you've been (especially in that moment when you requested the extermination of one of your fellow human beings - priceless!). I seriously (and I mean seriously) doubt it. But whatever. You do you (just don't ever, EVER expect me to do like you do - blech - I feel dirty just thinking about it)

I didn't request anything, you did!

Haha... you caught me. I honestly JUST thought about how I worded that particular part, and was going to edit it to the reality - which was that you had dared Him to exterminate me. My bad. But either way...

Tell you what I'll send a very near miss your way first,

The heathen, including Christians, will attempt to exterminate the God of Abraham. The body of God will be sacrificed and burned on the altar at the Temple in Jerusalem for a sin offering. Joel 3, Daniel 7, Isaiah 53.

If god exists and is as wicked as indicated in the Bible, humans should be looking at ways of exterminating it. Any ideas as to how it could be done?
Since everything is emanating from the mind of God and only held together by the Word of God. You can't exist without God willing it. So your idea is seriously flawed.

I would suggest that if you think God is evil and you are good. That you are therefore mistaken and in fact it is you who need to change your perspective because you can't possibly or logically know more than an Infinite Mind. So it is in fact you who are evil and God who is truly good.

Everything that is attributed to Voldemort in the Harry Potter books is bad, we should be seeking to exterminate it if it exists. In my opinion, the Biblical god has no more validity than Voldemort, but does more damage because of the way some extreme Christians behave thinking they are doing their god's will.
Yes, we know your opinion on the worldview position that there is no God even if it is wrong.

But extreme Christians do no more damage than extreme atheists IMV. Perhaps extreme atheists do more damage. What's your view?

This post gets the award for both stupid and disrespectful.
Is it really at all disrespectful to make disparaging or comedic comments about a thing that no one can provide inter-subjectifively verifiable evidence for? As in, you can't provide evidence that compels any given other person to believe - like we can do for gravity, or 2+2=4, or the detrimental effects of consistent alcohol abuse to the liver, or any number of things that God is supposedly even more fundamental than.

It would be like complaining that it is disrespectful of someone to joke around that we are in The Matrix. Actually... it's even worse than that. It's much more like complaining that it is disrespectful for someone to joke around that we AREN'T in The Matrix, while simultaneously insisting that we are - without evidence. Now, you want to talk about stupid... ?

God is not wicked in the least bit.

The Bible teaches that He is perfectly loving and patient.
