Socialist AOC wakes up at 3 in the morning worried about climate change...

Most adults are not listening to the climate change propaganda so they are now targeting the youth as Hitler did.

What they are doing in UK schools is tantamount to child abuse.

I only worry if something actually happens, not worrying over what if something happens.

Yea we see changes in our weather, and no , we are not experiencing Apocalypse Now.
So you pay no heed at all to the future and just react to whatever's happening at the moment?
That may be taking "living in the moment" a little too far.

This is a much greater threat to humanity than climate change but they haven’t found a way to use it as an excuse for increased taxation and control.

Interesting video. Yes, "we did it to ourselves" -- by failing to heed the warnings of those who foresaw the ramifications; the indirect, unexpected consequences. Are you failing to see the ramifications of climate change?

Mankind flourished for thousands of years before the advent of antibiotics. Antibiotic resistance, unlike climate change, threatens only a single species, not the whole ecosystem of the planet.
It's interesting that the presenter points to issues like carnivory and habitat destruction as fundamental to the problem; issues generally embraced by the anti climate change crowd.

Our primary concern should be the welfare of the planet; our life-support system. Climate collapse will affect us far more profoundly than antibiotic resistance.

We are apex consumers. Harm the penthouse, and the structure still stands. Harm the foundation and the whole thing collapses.
Like the profligate antibiotic users, I think you're failing to see the indirect, long-term ramifications of climate collapse.

Carbon taxes are not the way to go. CO2 is greening the planet. The UN is demonising it and governments are using it as a means of taxation and control.

All this hype is encouraging groups like these that would like to take us back to the Stone Age.

Yahoo is now part of Oath

Such groups would far rather attack climate change deniers personally than their professional opinions.

What is the point of subsidising any more wind, solar farms and household solar panel installations if we cannot store the energy that they produce?

Is all the taxation that is being collected in their name being used for that purpose or is a percentage being creamed off for other purposes?

Nuclear power seems like the way to go.

The speaker asks the really uncomfortable question, in the effort to try to save the climate are we destroying the environment.

There's also the story of Chicken Little who ran around yelling the sky is falling.
Look, I am writing a thread on global warming. I will add to it slowly as time (from teaching an actual climate change cpurse in a university) allows. We will discuss if urgent action is needed or not after you read the science.
