Now That Is Art

Calling art anything is the same as calling it nothing. People who hate the whole idea of art do that all the time. So do people who have no idea at all what art actually is, but don't want to admit it. There are a LOT of those people around.

And dissing art with pomposity because one does not consider it art is just the same... Don't you think!

But are they real Hawaiian shirts, or knock offs?
Revoltistanians appreciate the difference.
But those who don't wear them don't know.

I must say i have never stopped a wearer and asked, "is that godawful shirt genuine or a knock-off?"

So who knows

But i understand customs officials here are quite keen on preventing knock off goods getting into europe.

Genuine shirts can be hard to tell from generic "island" shirts.
I have some non-Hawaiian shirts because they too can be wonderful.
Vintage Mambo (Australiastanian) shirts are fabulous.
I have one of these....

Most of their shirts were wilder than this.
My favorite (have 2 slightly different) is one issued to protest
French nuclear bomb testing in the south seas. It has surfers
posing with & riding nuclear bombs.

The venus sculpture, its armless (sorry, one of the kids hit me with that first day back at school, they had an art lesson)

And the David sculpture is the real one, not the false one in Piazzale Michelangelo that so many tourists flock to see.

Both are perfect
