Should “proud boys” founder Gavin McInnes be allowed in Australia?

“We will kill you, that is the Proud boys in a nutshell. We will kill you." And some people seem to think Gavin McInnes promotes violence...

Gavin McInnes, who co-founded VICE Media but split from the company in 2008, went on to establish the ‘Proud Boys’ in 2016 - a men's rights organisation that has since been labelled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Centre.

Since then, the men’s rights group/fight club has spread to Canada, the United Kingdom and here in Australia.

It's a non-issue. The half dozen idiots in Australia that will buy into this nonsense will be just as crazy or dangerous with or without his gibberish.

Is he going to stay there, or is he planning to come back?

As long as violence is not provoked or advocated for, I'm for free speech, even speech I might disagree with.

I agree wholeheartedly with this, but was trying to decide if GMcInnes has advocated for violence.

It’s hard to tell when no context is given for his words, I guess it depends on how reliable the Southern Poverty Law Centre are in designating groups “hate group”s

I'm not well read on the subject of this group, so I will decline to pontificate.
Every information source has at least some bias. Even those which are striving wholeheartedly not to. The SPLC is obviously left leaning (as I am) and so that is their bias. Which is not to say whether they are correct or not.
I guess what I am getting at is that you need to read those with viewpoints other than your own preconceived one. It might not change your mind, but you will at least understand the basis of the opposing argument.
