Clearly if I were a Brit, I'd have to vote for Tarquin Fin-tim-lin-bin-whin-bim-lim-bus-stop-F'tang-F'tang-Olé-Biscuitbarrel (Silly Party)

If you were a Brit, there would be no point in voting.

The Mother of all Parliaments is committing suicide.

We need proportional representation, like the EU have, they are fair elections.

Again...if the EU was a fair egalitarian Union, Britain would have many reasons to stay. But Macron and Merkel are not ashamed of admitting they want to recreate the Holy Roman Empire...they even signed the treaty in Aachen where Charlemagne was crowned.

Who was it that said that I was wrong to call them quislings?

It was me - and you're still wrong. The EU is not an enemy force occupying the country - therefore there can be nobody collaborating with such a force.

quisling - A traitor who collaborates with an enemy force occupying their country.

Have you thought of any actual, real life, practical reasons why being in the EU is so bad you want to risk all the potential damage to our country to get rid of it, yet?

Real people's jobs and possibly their health, the peace in NI, and the existence of the UK itself are on the line - why is it worth it?

As this political observer points out, liars must possess a good memory in order to be effective.

This Remoaner fails miserably.

WARNING, colourful language used.

The EU has become a religion to some. There is no other explanation.

So what are the actual, rational, down-to-earth, real world problems with the EU? What is it about the way it affects ordinary UK citizen's lives that is to terrible that we should risk so much to be rid of it?

Brext is the position that looks like a religious cult to me because nobody I've asked can actually give a sensible answer to that question. "The EU is bad" seems exactly like some article of blind faith.

There is so much fake news coming out of the Brexit camp that I no longer believe any thing they say or publish. Truth to them seems to be anything they say it is.

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
After watching late into the night all of the shenanigans in the house of commons, I am of the definite opinion that Brexit is now a dead political reform. I consider this failure one of the greatest breaches of trust the British public has incurred in recent time, only outclassed by Mr. Blair´s announcement to join the American lead invasion of Iraq. I would suggest that for the past 30 years, the common law of the United Kingdom has slowly eroded in favour of the Napoleonic Code among other political norms. When Brexit is finally demolished, you might as well raise the French and German Flag over Westminster, because the laws of Britain will all be in violation of some sort of human rights law mandated from the French Courts either in Strasbourg or Luxembourg City! The demise of Brexit is like a boxer being punched in the stomach with all his air being knocked out of him.
Curious to know what British laws "will all be in violation of some sort of human rights law mandated from the French Courts either in Strasbourg or Luxembourg City"?

Got anything specific, or are you just building steam on baseless hyperbolic doom mongering?

WOW! Lets start with the ruling that gave inmates the right to vote concerning proprietary matters in prison. Or deportation orders which have been blocked by the same courts. Wake up and smell the coffee!

We have never been subject to any rulings by French courts.

Sounds highly arcane and rarefied. Not exactly the sort of thing I'd consider major political upheaval over. Got any examples of anything that will actually affect people's lives in any way that is an actual real issue?
