My gawd, man....who would need to care about that?
It would be like me expecting a President to hold forth
knowledgeably about various gear tooth pressure angles.

If he were going to be in charge of putting together your steam engine it would seem you would want him to have at least some grasp of the concept...

I figure that a President has much to learn on the job anyway.

The President would be the Commander-in-Chief. In Biden's case he was a Senator for approx 26 years and Vice President for 8 years; one would have to assume that he had numerous contacts with the Officer Corps of the Armed Services. There are approximately 18.2 million veterans and 2 million active duty, and reserve personnel, plus the National Guard. If one his going to tell a story about the military one would expect one to at least have taken the time to know what they are talking about.

I think it would be enuf to know a general from an admiral.

But such a detail is insignificant to others.

Thanks for the info. I thought she dropped out after the DNC and media backlash to frame her for having the guts to call a spade a spade.
