Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Trump's locking children in cages and threatening the free press and political opponents with imprisonment, and openly talking about suspending elections and/or not abiding by the outcome of them, but sure, Democrats are "oppressive"
We wouldn't have those issues if the Socialist Democrats had any foresight and didn't promote open borders causing the mess.

How many times have the Democrat socialists strong-armed people and railroaded the 'sanctuary cities' right down the throats of the people that live there and basically told them to live with it.

I can give you a laundry list of oppressiveness from the Socialist Democrat all the way from The Nanny State to the Mandate.

Oh by the way, don't forget who forcefully puts legal 5 year olds in handcuffs by the police just because they're having a tantrum. Yea. Got to take care of the children.

Wrong question for many Americans who might not particularly like Trump.

Q - Would you vote for a left wing, politically correct, antisemitic, pro-tax, big
government, pacifist party? If no, then vote Trump.

Could put it another way as well.

Q - Would you vote for a president that would even consider asking if nuking hurricanes is a way to get rid of them? If not, don't vote Trump.

I am not American and don't like Trump. But yes, I would vote for a person who would
consider nuking a hurricane. Someone should consider it. As it is - someone worked
out the energy of the hurricane is about 200,000 times that of a nuke (what size nuke?!)
So it won't work. But hey, someone "considered" it as a way to save lives, livestock and
property. Wouldn't you consider all options if you were given the task of mitigating hurricanes?

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
It's entirely possible that Trump could win in 2020, but if that happens, the reason would likely be due to the fact that the Democrats are unable to put up any real challenger.
That's how it looks to me at the moment. The Dems don't appear to have learnt anything from 2016 and are likely to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory once again. At least they're not trying to foist Hillary onto you again, I guess.

This is a simple, straight forward and anonymous poll. Feel free to explain your answer if you wish.

Any thoughts?

(Voted I’m not a U.S. citizen)

A part of me is curious to find out whether he will still try to keep his basis happy, knowing that he cannot possibly be elected a third time.

I'm guessing 90% probability I'll vote Libertarian.
But this depends upon the Dem's candidate for Prez.
Could they again run someone worse than Trump?

The Dems are divided, as they so often have been throughout history.

I think Trump may actually win in 2020 and get re-elected. I am wondering just how much the liberal media is under-estimating his support by this time around. It look he’s still polling at 30-40% comfortably no matter what happens. So we will have to wait-and-see.

True, but unless the President nukes a hurricane and is removed from office in a panic by the cabinet using the 25th amendment, I can’t see how anyone who would vote for Trump now will actually change their minds by election day. I live in hope!

I think you may be right. Trump has a base of about 30-35% support that will vote for him no matter how horrible and incompetent he is. Those aren't the people Dems should be focused on though. I'm more interested in the people who voted for Obama in '08/'12 and then switched to Trump, or who sat at home altogether in 2016. A status quo centrist politician like Biden gives them no more reason to vote for a Democrat than Hillary did. A populist like Bernie or Warren might have a shot though.

I am no fan of Trump but I would have to vote for him if the Democrats nominated an unstomachable leftie.

Yeah...as though there's no huge percentage of Dems
who'll vote for whatever object their party runs.
Criminy, a damaged can of sardines could get their vote.

Hey, Dems....run a peacenik this time, would you?
And if they're not a flaming commie, I'd vote for'm.

My point isn't that Dems aren't partisan. My point is that those Reps are not going to vote Dem no matter what candidate we nominate.

Literally any of the Dems running would be more of a peacenik than Trump, except maybe Biden. And even he wouldn't be f****** things up with Iran the way the very stable genius has. So I look forward to you joining the team Rev! :D:thumbsup:

Even if the Dems were to nominate a turnip, I undoubted will vote for that as I truly believe that Trump is a danger to this country and the world.

I've voted Dem before, eg, McGovern.
But my team is the Libertarian Party....I'm just not loyal to every candidate.

No, not when they are as stupid as this one. What do you think would happen when there is radiation in the oceans and in the air blowing in over land where people live and getting in food supplies, water supplies and so forth?

How could that possibly matter after "W" and Trump? Neither of which cared that they could barely speak english.

I am getting a bit tired of inarticulate Presidents. But policies matter the most which is why I would support Biden over Trump any day.

Ah, where's the "Absolutely not. I will vote for a Democrat" option?

.
I was going to ask that same question. I absolutely, positively, without a shadow of a doubt will not vote for him no matter who the Democrats nominate.
