Have you ever been in a car crash?

Was there any injury to you or the other person?

I have but it wasn't that bad.

My mom's second husband died in a car crash just a few days after he had his daughter. It was sad.

I have been injured in a car crash (concussion). No injuries to others. Why do you ask?

I asked because I saw one recently and it looks very traumatic. The ambulance just showed up and it appeared somebody was very injured. Only one person exited their vehicle. The other person looked injured.

I only ask because i take the bus, bike, and train because I've come too close to causing multiple accidents.

A couple.
Minor injuries.

Does it count if a car ran me down while bicycling?
That one earned me a broken leg.

When I was 17, I plowed into a van that ran a stop sign at about 60mph, totaling both vehicles. Other than a few cuts and bruises I was fine. The other driver was screaming about glass in his eyes.

I lost a brother-in-law in a car crash. Nice guy too.

I was in one in the early 80's. A drunk driver crashed into the church bus I was riding in with the rest of a youth group. Some minor injuries and shock to the passengers on the bus. The drunk driver survived too. He was hospitalized. I thought for sure he was dead, laying there with his head sticking of the window of his demolished car. I guess he rolled with the punch.

Fortunately, I've only been in a couple of minor car accidents where nobody got severely hurt.

I like riding around in my Tesla with auto-pilot, because I don't endanger the public safety when I'm too intoxicated to drive.

Some family friends were killed in a serious car crash in the late 80's. Only two children survived out of a family of 7. It was one of the saddest moments in my life. They were good friends.

I've broken both legs, an arm, a collarbone, bunch'o ribs, a scapula,
a finger (twice), prolly some toes, & done some slicing & dicing.
For injuries that were my own, I have been hit in the head with a box of bricks. Hit with above the eye with a 2X6. I stuck an ax in my head. All resulted in lacerations requiring stitches. I was hit in the head with a ball bat that did not really do that much. No lacerations. No concussion. My nose got broken in a fight once.

That would have helped.

I keep remember things that I did. I knocked a guy out with a piece of 1-1/2 closet rod and gave my younger brother a head injury with a piece of 1/2 inch iron pipe. For a peace-loving and mild-mannered individual, I have had some questionable episodes in my distant past. Some of them were accidents though.
